@ Chylise - you get the "sorry Shepard, not interested" talk from Mordin if you haven't romanced any ME2 LI's. My loyal-to-Kaidan Shepards get it every time because they love talking with Mordin.

Awesomesauce, I thought that might be the case. I didn't talk to Mordin much after his loyalty mission during my canon playthrough (my second PT of the game), because all the girls didn't want to talk to me, and all the boys didn't unless I romanced them, so I just ignored everyone. <_<

So now my canon!Shep loves Mordin as the geeky best friend and loves listening to his scientific ramblings (and singing, we can't forget the singing.)

I hated in ME2 how your conversation options hit a brick wall if you didn't romance the character. Mordin seems to have the most fleshed out dialogue options, probably because he isn't a romance option.

Tried to change Jack yet she gets PISSED if you don't romance her. Dumb Dumb

I'm glad they're remedying (wait, that's actually a word?) this in ME3 by having less squad mates. ME1 never ran into that problem, but with fewer squad members and only two romancable (for each gender), it made sense why.

I also hate how practically nobody acknowledges that you're still holding out hope for Kaidan (or Ashley). It's like Bioware tries their damnedest to make you forget about romancing the VS in ME1 by removing almost any and all references to them, so that you'll romance someone in ME2, and be forced to see the "showdown" in ME3. <_< I'm onto you Bioware! There was no "cheating" for this girl!

Same here, but I hated that if you told Mordin you didn't mean it like that, you got renegade points. And I was afraid if I said one of the Paragon options the game would flag something (not a romance, just something). And I didn't want that to show up in ME3 with my faithful-to-Kaidan Shepard. (Paranoid, aren't I?) So I reloaded and didn't talk to Mordin anymore.. Same with Samara.
Shepard is a sex magnet.
Still love Mordin all the same though. And his singing as mentioned.

Sorry I know this is a late reply to the previous post but I wanted to give a suggestion!
Hmms, how about a deep and husky singing voice? I actually was reading a Fanfic awhile ago that had Kaidan and Shep sing to each other, and the author described Kaidan singing in a deep and husky voice & I think it would suit him!

It was on Ch 15: Guilty Pleasures

This chapter had to of been my favourite just because I have the exact same guilty pleasure as Kaidan in the fic, and I knew all the songs.   Oh and definetly would recommend this fanfic! I really liked how each chapter also came with suggested songs to listen to while reading!

Blargh. Sorry to both of you! I think I mentioned midterms already as an excuse for my mumble jumbled brain. I can't remember fellow Kaidanites' usernames, but I can give you a full bio on Nathaniel Greene or John Whitman after all this stinkin' studying. <_< And I'll never use this info again in my life.

Tell me about it Lady. I've finally got a few assignemnt free weeks so I'm trying to catch up on some of my unfinished fics, lol.

I wanted everyone on the damn ship to acknowledge that my Shep was hanging out for Kaidan, but all I got was a question from Kelly, who had better keep her eyes off Kaidan if she's anywhere in Shepard's vacinity.. And I really didn't want or need to know about Garrus' sexploits or his reach, although I loved that last conversation with Mordin too, lmao. First playthrough is always a great learning experience in what dialogue options not to choose, lol.

I, ahem, have one in a few weeks.  Never too early to start posting pics. 

As a goofy thought, I always pegged Kaidan as a fellow Scorpio.  It's all in the eyes.  But then, that brings up questions of how exactly metaphysics would work in the ME universe (notions of it "working" or not working in this universe are dodgy enough lol).

I definetly agree with Kaidan being a Scorpio! Scorpios definetly have the eyes, are fighters & may I add very loyal.
I might be bias though I am scorpio as well. Mines Nov 5th so in 9 days!

Preie , I could see Virgo for Kaidan, several parts.  But there are some things about him that intimates Scorpio: holding back, being steadfast, standing up for his principles, saying things indirectly while feeling their mark out, being private.
