Another Sagittarian here, though I am in no way 'flippant' about sex. I think Kaidan is a little too restrained to be a Scorpio, though teh secksiness is sure there... Fire sign to Fire sign, I say - which means I think he's actually a :Leo.

He can't be a Leo.  The earliest the Singapore incident can take place is January.  And there's no note about him being a premie.  So....

That leaves his birthdate in either September, October, November or December of '51.

Me too  I don't think he is Sagittarius either..... Sag guys are a lot of fun and can be flippant sexually, like Sag women.. it just doesn't *fit* 
He could be Scorpio, they are passionate, intense and loyal with a slight tendancy to take things seriously....

Well, now this is just getting ridiculous. All three of us are wild and crazy lefties, and we are also all Sagittarius? My birthday is December 2nd, just in case you guys want to start planning the party now. 

@Sialater My hubby is supposedly Taurus (it sounds nothing like him) and we aren't supposed to be "compatible" but we've been happily married for 17 years. I take the whole "my sign" thing with a grain of salt.

I get along fine with Taurus... one of my best friends is and I have really good Virgo friends.. I just put it down to us getting along fine with everyone

Yep and I still vote Scorpio it's in the way he carries himself, his quiet confidence and reserved attitude to everything.... He isn't afraid to stand up and be counted either and continued to love Shepard for two years after death... something Scorpios are most capable of out the available signs..... (IMO)

All of this talk of Zodiacs has me reading about my sign and I like it more and more. I think that they are hoax-y but that is just me. They seem goofy but as someone said they are loads of fun.

And reading up on some zodiacs for Kaidan, Scorpio sounds close.

Personally, I kind of want to say Earth sign for Kaidan because Earth signs tend to be very stable whereas Water signs are off the wall insane when it comes to emotions (I should know, I'm a Cancer >_<)

I'm almost sure Kaidan is a Virgo and Miranda is a Capricorn. At least based on people from both signs I know, Virgo is "always checking - reliable - calm" and Capricorn is "always checking - reliable - extremely persistent". May be vice versa.

I take all that zodiac stuff with a grain of salt and I am definitely not what you would call typical gemini - highly adaptable and versatile, great communication skills, intellectual, and life of the party. LMAO, that is so not me, in fact I think I'm the opposite of those things.

The only information I have concerning Kaidan's birthday is from the in-game Codex, his ME2 bio and his conversations with Shep.

Here are the Codex entries:

2151 - A shipping accident at Singapore International Spaceport exposes downwind communities to containers of dust-form element zero. Alliance begins construction of Arcturus Station.

2152 - Roughly 30% of the children born in Singapore after element zero exposure suffer from cancerous growths.  Systems Alliance begins settlement of Earth's first extra-solar colony world, the planet Demeter.

Here's the dialogue spoken in-game:

Shep:  You doubt it was accidental?:  Is there some question about how you were exposed?

Kaidan:  My mother was downwind of a transport crash.  It was before there were human biotics.  A little after the discovery of the Martian ruins.  It only gets iffy around ’63 when Conatix was running out of first-gen subjects.  Until then, they’d relied on accidentals.  Bunch of guys show up in suits outside your door and the next thing you know you’re out on Jump Zero.

(Now that bit of dialogue about his mom is different from the Wiki: After his mother is exposed during the accident, Kaidan Alenko is born later that year with biotic potential.) 

Shep:  Why tell me?:  So why are you telling me this? Is there something I can do to help you get over it?

Kaidan:  I’m thirty-two, Shepard. You don’t serve as long as I have without coming to terms with yourself.  You also learn that if someone is special to you, you help them. Try to keep them from making mistakes.

Mass Effect starts in 2183 and ME2 in 2185.  So it's anyone's guess at this point since the timeline is wonky.

Honestly, ME timeline confuses me a lot. For example, I still can't figure out how many time does ME2 take.

2183 - 32 = 2151.

The Singapore Crash took place in 2151.  Ergo, he was born in the latter quarter of 2151 while the crash would have had to take place in the first quarter.
