Not really.  He's still born in 2151.  It would just have to be in the latter half (ie, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec), to remain in the same year as the crash.

Where are you getting your information that is has to be later in the year?  His dialogue never states that anywhere in the game.  And it's also not mentioned in the Codex.

Exactly. He wouldn't necessarily have to have been born late in the year-- he had to have been in utero for the exposure to affect him, but we don't know how far along his mom was pregnant with him when the crash happened.

So many pages to catch up on, hate it when the boyfriends round, can't do anything!

I don't really believe in birthsigns or anything, so not sure what Kaidan would be :S

I gave up trying to figure out timelines in games and films, thing's are always off or something!

I was just thinking, with the demo being out in january, wouldn't the new default FemShep have to be designed? if that's the case possibly the trailer maybe just before and hopefully feature Kaidan?

2183 - 32 = 2151.

The Singapore Crash took place in 2151.  Ergo,
he was born in the latter quarter of 2151 while the crash would have had
to take place in the first quarter.

You're right, she could have concieved him at almost any point in the last quarter of 2150, however, given the little we know about developing fetuses and that that's all we have to go by, the earlier in the gestation the exposure occurred, the more likely he would have adapted to the mutations and not developed the other debilitating effects of exposure.  Which, to me, means exposure more than likely occured sometime in the first trimester.

Thanks for the math lesson.  Numbers are hard.  Why you have glommed onto the year is beyond me when I was discussing the month?  It is never stated when the crash happened or how far along his mother was in her pregnancy when he was exposed.  It's just as plausible he was born early in the year as any other time.  Hence why I said it was anyone's guess.

L'Etoile, I believe, phrased it as "later that year" in one of his infodumps. Not that that really helps.

However, I thought that one of our resident nursing types with the human bio info suggested that if he were later along in development when he were exposed, there would be less chances of fatal mutation? ... or am I getting that confused?

I misunderstood what you were asking.  I re-explained further up.

I'm not a medical doctor by any means, but it's always been my understanding that, as FireEye said, first trimester exposure is more dangerous for a fetus.

Edit: I'm basing this off of FAS; though excessive alcohol consumption at any time during pregnancy can be dangerous, it's most dangerous in the first trimester.

But since eezo is a fictional element, who knows how it would affect a fetus?

I'd go for the top, I might try and make something for the craft thing also. Should use the graphic design degree I got for something? <_<

What's being done for it atm? Haven't had time to catch up on stuff...

I'd kinda prefer that one shot from Horizon where he looks back at Lilith and smiles (it's when he sais "Yeah. It's a wonder no one's been blaming that one on me too." or something like that)

but that's just my opinion^^

Clara, I like classic Kaidan, but new Kaidan is good too. Especially if he is in the shot by himself. If you have maleShep in the pic, that leaves out femShep and vice versa. Whatever you want though. Since you're the one putting in the work, it's entirely your choice. =D

EDIT: Oh! I see you are asking which outline to base it off of. Nevermind! :P

Well, right now I just finished the measurments for the poster, it's standing at 32" by 24" inches big.  Right now I was deciding on a base for the outline of kaidan. hmm... got a contribution and trying to resize it too fit perfectly to the poster size.  My sister will be helping me this sunday, so I can most likely print things soon.

XP I'm trying... xD

On Kaidan's birthday: He's probably born sometime late 3rd, 4th quarter 2151 since the accident happened the same year while his mother was pregnant with him (presumably within the early stages since that's usually when fetuses are effected by outside substances). So figure, she was probably in her 1st trimester early-ish in the year, so my guess is Kaidan was born sometime between August-December (sorry if my math's bad. I was always bad with math and I'm not feeling too well).

On users birthdays: I'm 14th of February, same day as my oldest cousin in Jersey. Don't believe in the astrology bs though.

It's probably because he will be too busy killing things that try to get to Shepard, and kissing her face off during any free time. I think I'm okay with that. :D
