Anyways, I don't get it. The writers said that they're adding more humor into ME3, yet Kaidan has less humor? Is Garrus going to become a stand-up comedian now, and that'll take the place of humor-lacking squad mates?
So, a Turian, Elcor, and Hanar walk into a bar-

And Zaeed was the only one to make it out alive.

Also, there will be Ewoks.  Image IPB

As long as there's no Jar Jar I'll be happy, lmao

Don't even mention his name. I have been fighting (for what like a decade now?) to rid the universe of the unparalled evil that is the Star Wars prequels. Why was he at any point, wether a sub or not, a council member!? Why!?

The only good thing about the Star Wars prequels was Ewen McGregor.

You know, I've never actually seen Star Wars. Been meaning to get around to it, especially with them being released on Blu Ray, but I guess I never really found the motivation.

I wonder whether Rafael has ever played ME or whether it would feel too weird to him when Kaidan started talking.

:o Would he Virmire himself and save Ash?

I used to watch videos of my dance performances and pick out all my flaws and screw-ups. I wonder if VA's ever listen to their work and cringe?

EDIT: Good grief now we're being invaded by Jar Jar! Never a dull moment in this thread.

That's just silly, George Lucas never made any Star Wars prequels. Nope, none at all.

I've never seen Star Wars either, dont worry.

I bet it would be weird for Raphael to play ME. I know that some actors cant hear/see themselves act.

Star wars is fairly over rated. The originals were best before Lucas tried to re-write them, and make them super high tech. In the prequel stuff, he tried to make every single scene relate to the old movies and it got BAD.

I remember seeing A New Hope at the movies when it was first released way back in the dark ages. It's still one of my all time favourite movies. I still watch the original 3 movies on dvd. I also remember being mega excited about the prequels until I actually saw them, lol.

Good question.  Altthough according to an interview from a few months back, he doesn't play.

Then again, given his apparent fondness for the Kaidan/Shepard romance arc from the same interview, I get the feeling he'd follow that up instead.  Or maybe he'd do different playthroughs.  :wizard:

I remember from the Appendices discs of the Lord of the Rings Extended Editions that the actors commented on how weird it was to see themselves, so I imagine voice actors would think the same. Except it's their voice in someone else's body!
I do the same thing, too! I watch videos of myself riding, and point out every little error I make, and what I should have done to make my horse move better, etc. Now I refuse to watch anything with me in it.

More emotional/passionate than previous ME games.

Kaidan is going to be more emotional and Passionate:wub:I <3 that! I also love that Sbarge said he is playing for keeps. I love when someone says that. The last person that tried to hurt someone Kaidan loved (Rhana) they died. I'm so ready to see protective and dangerous Kaidan!!!! I think it will be hard for him to leave Shep side again. Especially since Shep died and he was already in an escape pod so he was helpless in saving him/her. I'm sure he went over thousands of "What If" scenerios in his mind over the years.
Funny most of my BF are sags and they are so much damn fun:P So far pretty much everyone in this thread is fun! We are a crazy bunch and that is why I keep coming back.

I was at Virmire and Ashley died last night. I almost started crying:crying:

I love love love him for doing these audioblogs but its making the wait unbearable. Hearing them does make my heart flutter though.

edit: @silver I know, its terrible. I left Ashley with the bomb not knowing it was going to show her death scene. That was heart-breaking. Does anyone have a video of leaving a romanced Kaidan on Virmire? I've never heard what he says.

I am quite sure if my Dad could have, he would have played the original trilogy in-utero to my brother's and I. They were always my favorites when I was little and when the prequels came out we were all excited but then just became really angry for some reason . . . can't imagine why (I am looking at you George!).

Oh and yeah, totally agree that he should have left the original 3 movies alone.

Yeah, I indoctrinated my kids into Star Wars fairly early in their lives but not in utero, lol. But they introduced me to ME and got me hooked so it was a fair trade, lmao.

ooooh Kaidan is always with the Nuke but I save him. I had no idea it shows a death scene with the nuke??? Is that true? Ashley is always in the tower.

Don't have video, but he says the same things as Ashley does and the romance never comes up during or ever again.

Bombsite looks like this, though:

I have been practicing on my younger cousins. They learned how to read by playing games. I hooked them on Mass Effect and Uncharted and now they are hopelessly addicted. They are 10 and 13 (I do have to keep them from seeing certain things though . . .) now but I started them on the path to light side when they were still in diapers.

Aw, I wish I had a cool relative when I was young. Learned to read from Pokemon Yellow, and I had to find and become hopelessly hooked on Uncharted and Mass Effect all on my own :crying:

Nice to meet another Uncharted fan! I rarely meet anyone who knows what it is. Super hyped for Uncharted 3 in five days :D

That reminds me, I tried babysitting my cousins once (8 and 6, both boys). I offered to let them play games, and choose from my shelf. I suggested Kingdom Hearts as one they might like, they just looked at me and said, "Call of Duty!". I lost a little bit of faith right then. So I gave them Uncharted to play, and the older boy kept complaining that the dumb blond b**** (yes, he actually said that) was shooting at his enemies. The younger boy complained that none of the guns had upgrades, and he then proceeded to explain to me the best types of guns and their upgrades. These were things I didn't even know! So, yeah, I don't babysit anymore unless it's close family and I don't have school/work. :bandit:

I tried to get my kids on side but I like rpgs and my ex liked shooters so the boys always preferred shooters. The played any rpgs I got my hands on once but could never understand how I could play ME or DAO so many times. (or Kotor, or any other game I can think of, lol).

And on topic : I always take Kaidan to the bomb because a) he never leaves my Shepard's side, and B) he's the techspert so it makes more sense to take him to the bomb and send the soldier with the Salarians. I've never been able to bring myself to Virmire Kaidan.

@Lady, I too came across Mass Effect by myself. In fact, I dont know anyone in real life that plays it, thats sad. I need to find new friends!

I almost always take Kaidan with me to the bomb. Except for once when I took Ashley, but that was because I heard Kaidan takes control of the Salarian squad. I've never left Kaidan on Virmire though. I had no idea that it would show Ashleys death scene at the Nuke, I felt terrible.
