Gosh Raphael Sbarge is an amazing man^_^ I don't know many VA's that would do this for their fans. I certainly will when I can finally get some real VA work of my own xD.

And I have to agree: Bless Raphael Sbarge for doing these audioblogs. Mass Effect 3 news have been so scarce and, what's worse, seriously lacking Kaidan. It's incredibly nice of him to do this for the fans.

frankly, I'm still a bit *meeeh* about the whole thing, well at least the exchange reading it for donations parts, either of those should be things that we do because we want to and he does because he wants to; it could have stopped after Jacqui mentions the charity, but I guess people need incentives

BUT I'd still gladly do something to help: donate myself and spread the word - as soon as there is a *word* concerning how it's done ... brooding over what could be done for commissions, got some ideas, but I'm not sure if receiving a digitial picture is sufficient for people ... but then I'm not much of a traditional artist *shrug*

Long time Lurker, first time Poster

Just wanted to say how great this thread is, I have made it my morning ritual to read this, after checking my email and my Facebook, heh. Sometimes you post something that you do while playing Mass Effect, like talking to the screen and it is funny, because I do the same thing and my husband makes fun of me for this, lol.


Well, I just listened to sbarges audioblog and i about fell of the chair giggling like a crazy person when he started chuckling at the question about him reading poetry, got some funny looks from my daughter.

I fell hard for Carth as well.  I didn' t like KOTOR II for many reasons, a big one was that the PC leaves Carth alone for over 4 years.  So I'm glad that canon Revan is male.  In that way, my female character never left him and they are happily ever after. 
And I'm still smitten.  I just got this commission back this week and I LOVE it--me as Revan and Carth. 


I was hooked on BioWAre at that point.  Loved DAO.  But my hubby and I fought over the PS3.  So he got me ME.  I fell for Kaidan the moment I heard Carth's voice.  I had to romance that character!  At the time, I just felt it was too bad Kaidan wasn't very attractive.    How times change.
Sbarge's voice attracted me and Kaidan's actual depth of character made me fall for him the rest of the way.

My happy story

I'm fan of BioWare games since Baldur's Gate, since I love rpg... Than, at a day of it's release, my boyfriend bought DA:O for himself, but I just start to play it before him (he never start DA:O btw), and then comes DA2 - again my BF brought it, this time for me... I was so obsessed about it... So he told me about ME - and this was his worst choice ever! I remember that I did 2 playthrough in 4 days - full playthroughs... I'm a maniac and I love it in myself xD And well, I fell for Kaidan since that smile of his after Eden Prime
