Probably not. Biotic abilities can be tracked down on the molecular level (like in Star Wars!) so Kaidan was probably identified through medical records and bloodwork. Wasn't Jack identified as a "biotic prodigy" during a check-up at the doctor's office? The evidence really points towards Conatix and Cerberus keeping an eye on the medical records of children born near eezo drops, especially if Kaidan's "intential eezo spill" theory is correct.

After a series of starship accidents in the 2150s which dispersed element zero over populated areas, the first human biotics were born, though their abilities were not recognized right away. As a result of the crash, kids in Singapore displayed minor telekinetic talents before humans knew about biotics. As I understand it, the implants and training synchronize everything to boost what's naturally there and make it consistently reliable.

And allegedly, Kaidan was missed in the first sweep and picked up later, which is why the L2s instead of the L1s.  For some reason, I want to say he was 12-14 when he was discovered, but I honestly don't know.  And I'd suspect his parents must have known something was up before that, even if they didn't know what.



And guys?  Celebrating page counts can get the thread locked not that I don't love the love.
