Congratulations in advance!  Awesome guy you found!  :happy:  And another WoW addict?    I quit with Cata (all the good healers in our very small guild quit), though I came into a gamecard, so I reupped for Brewfest/Hallow's End.  I only started raiding last year, and loved healing.  It was my crack - healing HHoR while undergeared was nervewracking and soooooo much fun!  I can't wait for TOR.

I know this is a late response but congraulations Yaycookies on your up coming wedding!

@ Pax of Doom, I used to be a WoW addict too but got I really bored of it right after Cata, I didn't even get to 85, I stopped at 84 thats how bored I was. Also I had to comment when you said healing HHoR was fun. My main was a rogue but every healer I knew HATED HHoR, even more so while undergeared or bring alts through. Let me guess you would pug HHoR for fun?

Oh & I have a general question, has anyone created a Kaidan Playlist? I am trying to find some more inspiration to help me create my part for the sbarge gift so I have been putting together a playlist but wanted to know if anyone had any song ideas to add to it. I have about 9 songs so far.

Maybe it's me but I find gender-reversal in action movies totally hot.  I mean, knights in armor have been saving damsels in distress for eons - so much so that's it's become overdone, trite, and stereotypical. I've always reasoned that any villain can abduct the wife/girlfriend/sister/love interest of the big, burly, macho action star.

But a villain who instead abucts said big, burly, macho action star, thereby forcing said wife/girlfriend/sister/love interest to take on the rescuer role has stones the size of coconuts.

(disclaimer: A friend suggested bonus points for hot bondage scenes involving the BBMAS but I consider that an acquired taste and therefore left up to the individual)

Oh, and ladies: don't let any guy sh*t you. Guys like to be rescued every now and then. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I don't really like the poster too, but it's funny to some point... I prefer that would be Sheploo than Kaidan but I won't rant about it. And even if that what you said are my thoughts about her ( I really don't like Ashley), I know that some of us here on BSN love's her almost that much as they love Kaidan... And I respect that... That's why I don't go all mad about it and sorry but be nasty about it...

Don't get me started on what the holy eff is up with youtube. I have tried since the release date or so to get the DA2 theme song. The "I'm not calling you a liar" For some horrible reasons not allowed in Germany. Guh.

Yeah I had alot of friends who were & they all said healers got screwed over in cata.
Lmao true, WoW would have to do alot to get me back, not even emailing me14 day free passes to play again will bring me back at this point! I was just got bored of raiding & lvling up different alts. I did love my Rogue night elf & Worgen druid though I must say.

& about the Kaidan playlist, Ohh! thanks for the suggestion I have always loved that song! I can't believe its not in my playlist atm, thanks for the suggestion!

Also about the current argument, I don't want to add fuel to the fire so I am just going to let Kaidan express how I feel about it...

oh grow up. Women can be strong individuals and Men can have weaknessess. you don't seem to mind that if Kaidan is at the bomb Femshep hoist him onto her shoulders and carry him back to the ship. But oh no Ashley is protecting Kaidan waaah" Soldier protect their commarades it's part of the job and part of the reason they're dedicated to them.

He was injured at that moment and couldn't make it on the ship quick enough. On the poster, he's not, h's just pathetic.

Alright.  Let me level with you.

I requested that pic.



Someone was doing free art for Halloween and I asked for a Army of Darkness mockup.  Ashley M. Williams as Ashley J. Williams was pretty damn intuitive.  Kaidan as Shiela, mostly because Shiela is the love interest and in case you didn't notice the icon:



I 'ship them like burning. 

There is no ill will behind it.  When I play ME1, I take them everywhere.  Kaidan is my squishy space mage, and he holds his own, but my Soldier!Shepard and Ashley tank and make a point soak up the bullets going his way.  Without a Medic!Shep, he's the closest thing to a healer in the game.

You wanna hate me?  Go ahead.  It's all my fault.  I'm a horrible person because in my head, Ash, Kaidan, and Shepard are all various levels of androgynous on different spectrums of masculine-feminine behavior.  I'm also the one who tends to post the Kaidan-in-a-Catsuit pictures when they show up.

And I for one save both Kaidan and Ashley on Virmire.



Because my Shepard is that flippin' manly/womanly/wtfever.
