@Bekkael and, not directly, Silverpearl: sometimes I'm worried about armour since one of possibilities for Sentinel is tank which outtanks Soldier!Shepard. ~ 600 at shields + Assault Armor - who is squishy now? I really don't want to see Kaidan going some kind of biotic tank, casters are my guys.

Sentinel in ME2 is really the most versatile class - Overload for shields, Warp for Warp bombs, armor and barriers, Cryo Blast for crowd control, Throw for husks and poor spirits standing on the edge of bridge, insane amount of shields and Tech Armor which recharges shields, allows crowd control and resets cooldowns of squadmates. The biggest problem - "aargh not enough points!"

I'd love to know who the genius was that thought ten points, broken down into 1, 2, 3, and 4 point increments was a good idea. Dammit to hell, I hate having hanging points, but based on the way I like to use my points, I always have one or two points that are not useable. Simple solution is simple: make ten INDIVIDUAL point slots, for crying out loud! It really is a silly system, and the only reason I can think of as to why they changed it from how it was in ME1 to how it is in ME2 was to make it more "teh awesome easy!" and hope to appeal to people that really don't like elements of RPG's and leveling. Any system that keeps you from using points and XP that you earned is moronic, and I refuse to change the way I allot my points just because their system is flawed, but it always aggravates me.

Without a doubt.  I recently heard the song for the first time in quite some time, and was blown away by how well it fit.


As a slightly off-topic aside, I'm watching Lord of the Rings (for the 400th time) while I work (can't you tell I'm working?), and it was just the scene on Weathertop where the Nazgul are attacking, and Aragorn shows up with sword and torch and kicks their asses.

So yeah keep the suggestions coming for the Shenko playlist! <3 I think I have, roughly, 65 songs already on the playlist!

To Shepard/Kaidan theme songs - my Alyson has Fading Away by Demon Hunter (not in the good agreement with opinion of majority, it seems. But this lady is rather aggressive, she also has "Spit it Out" by Slipknot as battle theme) and Mona has Blue by David Usher.

off-topic: I love Aragorn and brag to all my friends that we have the same birthday. Then they look at me like I'm crazy as they point out he's a fictional character.

I love having a Sentinel in my squad, more often than not I'll have Kaidan with me in ME1 and Miranda in 2. Their skill set is diverse enough to cover pretty much anything you'll run into. I prefer Kaidan as a caster, too. I want him in the back sending baddies flying when they get too close to my fool self who will be blindly running into the thick of battle. And I always have points left over on after I finish leveling my squad and it drives me crazy that I can't make them useful, they just sit there all ugly and in the way.

De-lurking quick just to add my 2 pence to the song choice thing.

Found it a couple of months ago and I really think Katie Melua - No Fear of Heights fits Kaidans POV towards Shepard, not sure where in the timeline - generally post Horizon I think.

I usually change a line in my head though - "when you give me love" to "when you Gave me love" so that it is retrospective.

@Jilinna - I just went with some songs that I thought no-one else would pick, and I went with sappy because that was my mood, lol. My Shenko music file has a wide range of styles and artists and probably has over 100 songs and pieces of music in it, lol. Mostly from the 70's and 80's because thats my era, lol, but having teenagers means that I hear some of the more modern songs as well.

@RGC_Ines - I love Within Temptation! I can't believe I forgot to add them to my original list! One of my favorites from them to add to the Shenko playlist has to be Utopia by Within Temptation & the music video is so touching!

I really love how the Shenko Playlist has turned out so far! If anyone else has anymore suggestions let me know!
