Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think they're beautiful and moving.

As for a Mass Effect movie, I'll just be honest and tell you I doubt I'll ever watch it. Video game movies don't have a good reputation (which is fair since they tend to suck).

Even Resident Evil, as much as I love Milla Jovavich (sp?), the movies have nothing to do with the game series. And there's just no replacing Mr. Sbarge's voice as Kaidan. Unless they overdubbed his voice to some other actor, which would just be weird.

Hate it for many reasons, but when it comes to Kaidan, the news is just ugh.... Unless the male Shep in the movie is gay (which would never happen lol) I'm pretty much 100% Kaidan will get killed on Virmire :(

Oh I wouldn't be so pesimistic yet, he'll definitely have a LI that's for sure, but if it's Liara (which seems to be given more attention), Kaiden could yet live. Besides, when you take into account that they're fictional characters (and if you won't be missing out on additional appearances), being treated to a good death can be very awesome (ie. T2, Iron Giant). It's for that reason I'm considering coninuing my game where Legion died even though I wuv him so (er, what is it with robots ).
Actually scratch that, Virmire was idiotic

^This. Same reason I won't read the Revan novel - I've made my stories, which I thought was the whole point of the games. They don't get to take it back. I hate the idea they are trying to do just that. It's the one thing that's actually making me leary of Bioware games as a whole - if it's a trend that keeps up, I really will have to stop playing them - which would be a shame. But I'd rather that than have things jerked around on me.

Problem is that when extracted, he had no lashes mesh at all Lenght is not a problem. I can photoshop the texture like I did for Ashley. But I need fitting mesh with proper weights.
As for the tools, I will explain when I finish.

Movie based on ME1 - no thanks. Jenkins will be replaced by Kaidan and Sheploo will have to make a choice between his two LI's, Liara and Ash on Virmire, lol. My canon Shepard is the one in my head and on my monitor so it's a movie that I won't be seeing.

My Exile took Atton, picked up Carth, found Revan and Carth and Revan had a tearful reunion where she apologized for trying to protect him because she has to save the galaxy again.  He, of course, forgave her for running off on him.  My Exile found it all very amusing then she and Atton when somewhere quiet.  Bao-dur officiated both ceremonies.

Oh no no, you got that wrong! Kaidan Alenko will be a 24 year old female soldier. Y'know, C-Cups and everything. And Shepard has to decide between three beautiful ladies.  /Ikid

Well, there are 2 or 3 textures of eyelashes, and game adds different masks (I think) to them depending of individual eye shape.
Like I said, Kaidan has no lashes mesh at all. Which is weird, because on my screenshots from Horizon, he has them.

LOL.  Mine went to Telos with him so he could work on his relationship with his son, but she dropped him off and did something else while they talked.  She didn't want to be in the way.  I can't remember if that was before or after the wedding.  Probably before in the hopes that his son would attend.
I had this long convoluted explanation about her connection to Carth at one time.  LOL

At first I was upset about the Revan novel, when I read the synopsis, but then I remembered that Drew Karpyshyn is also responsible for this abomination...I'm pretty sure even he wants to forget that novelization ever happened.  

So my head canon is not threatened by wacky scenarios in book canon.  Especially if they're like what I heard about Revan...

 I wouldn't worry too much about the film adaptation of Mass Effect. Of course they'll probably end up butchering a heart-warming and one of a kind story, probably with a lot of sex smushed in to appeal to horny audiences. I didn't expect a female Shepard to be starring (gruff-voiced generic white male action star for Shep, I'm guessing) in the slightest and I have a feeling that if they decide Virmire's an important enough part of Shepard's story, Kaidan's already packing his bag.

As an actor, do you enjoy Kaidan’s character over the arc of Mass Effect?
Absolutely. The thing that I love about Kaidan – and I’ve done quite a few video games – but the thing that I love about him so much, is what a complex guy he is, and that he’s not just sort of a bad-ass freedom fighter out there in the universe, fighting geth and trying to just shoot and kill whatever comes out. You sense – and clearly, obviously now, I’m seeing a theme – this is a guy who’s got a conscience, and this is a man who is really intent on doing the right thing and has also – and again, this is the writing – has a very tender side to him. Has a sensitivity, despite the fact that he’s got a tremendous strength and a power, and he’s loyal. He’s strong. And he has clearly a soft side and a heart.

His relationship with Shepard, the female Shepard – the writing is just wonderful. Some of the best writing for Kaidan, for all three of the games, is coming up in Mass Effect 3, which is steamy. And thrilling to do. And, I mean, it’s sort of an actor’s dream to be able to have, in this case, a character that’s as rich as this is.

I mean, so many video games have just a lot of screaming in them. And this game is really much more nuanced. Much more like a film character or like a television character, where you get to kind of really bring depth, dimension and some heart to him. So, yeah, it’s been wonderful exploring him. Yesterday we were doing the last scene from Mass Effect for Kaidan, and we all got a little misty about it.

My KOTOR headcanon is kinda long, so feel free to skip it if you want (it's the outline for something I'll probably never get the time to write):

My Revan was female like me, and chose Carth and redemption (the two are linked: love = redemption). She studied her own history, which triggered more memories. She relearned the key to what her past plans had been: Gather everyone together as fast as possible by whatever means necessary to present a united front to the true Sith threat (conquest was faster - and the only way to get the fallen Jedi to follow at all); leave intact the things necessary to rebuild later. Remember, no one understood war like Revan. She'd face personal damnation (in the eyes of the Jedi and everyone else) if it meant saving the galaxy, though she didn't really see it as damnation at the time. More like expedience.

Once she realized the true problem and its scope, she went off to sabotage the Sith as much as possible from within, deceiving them into believing she was still fallen. This of course precluded taking anyone with her - the plan wouldn't work at all if someone gave it away. As such plans go, it was great right up until it went pear-shaped and she landed in enough trouble she couldn't get herself back out alone. T3, on Carth's recorded instructions, took the Ebon Hawk back to Republic space with Kreia (while she had her own agenda, this much matched up with Revan's); she and T3 found the Exile because that's who Revan needed them to find. The Exile did her KOTOR II stuff (also female, also light side, no romance though she regretted not allowing Atton to get close enough), and returned on the Ebon Hawk to the location locked in its systems. There, she freed Revan and they established a nucleus of covert converted Sith who followed the Exile due to her unique abilities. A couple of years later, they were as established as they could be; Revan left that effort in the hands of the Exile and came back to Carth. Together they continued the recovery and rebuilding efforts of the Republic and Jedi. They loved each other steadfastly, and lived for a bit longer than the usual lifespan, dying nearly at the same time. The Exile and their band hampered the Empire sufficiently to delay them returning their attention to the Republic for 300 years. Cells may still be present and active in the current (SW:TOR) Empire.

Back on topic-ish: I think Mr. Sbarge probably has that adorable semi-hesitation speech mannerism tn real life - that he uses it when acting brings a bit of realism to his roles I think. How many people can talk in perfectly scripted sentences, especially if they are emotional at the time? It's part of what I liked best of his rendering of both Carth and Kaidan; it made them more approachable to me.

I actually liked the Exile a lot. But then... Meghan and Avery Shepard evolved from my RP'ing the Exile and Revan respectively.

Pics or it didn't happen. 

The Exile is a good character too, she just lacks the "huge impact of a background" that Revan has.

And Atton is one of my favorite video game characters ever. 

Anyways, about the ME movie... I'm going to watch it, but treat it like the Resident Evil movies: a separate entity. Also, I never let "official canon" ruin my head canon. Ever.

Happy Halloween! So far no one has come here for candy, which is weird since it's almost 5 pm (I even put up a sign saying we have free candy).

As for the movie, I doubt I'll watch it.
