Why people are saying this has become a clique is what I want to know? One person said that and now all of a sudden others are saying it. From what I've seen new people are welcome and acknowledged. Just because I don't comment or others don't comment doesn't mean we haven't read it and we haven't considered what that person is saying. Just sometimes I personally don't know what to say. I do <3 reading though!!!

I feel like this thread along with the Tali thread has a cliquish vibe to it.
Its strange cause how did this happen? This whole culture around Kaidan just popped up after me2. It really wasnt here before. Before it was so lonely now its just all of this..
Unfortunately I now have to agree. Over the past 2 weeks this thread has turned extremely cliquish which is very, very sad. It appears that while people outside the "inner circle" comment and ask questions and are basically ignored, anyone from the "in" crowd can sneeze and get 15 posts saying "Gesundheit!"
There's really no point for me to stick around since I'm not part of the charmed circle. That being said, there are a couple of posters on this thread I'd like to thank for their conduct during my time here. There are also a couple of posters I'd like not to thank. But I won't name names since everyone pretty much knows who they are.
Take care, have fun and thanks for all the duck.
But there is no reason to leave, push your way in..... I certainly hope I never made anyone feel anything other than welcome....

EDIT: Spelling!
The posters stated why they were leaving (like adults do) and bid farewell. I think it is important that if people begin to drop out the thread knows why, or at least the OP. If there is a feeling (right or wrong) that the thread is no longer all-inclusive then people should know. No one wants to lose genuine people from their thread or discussion if they can help it.
Every thread benefits from new blood, new ideas and a feeling of being welcome. Even perception of characters that counter yours is a welcome thing to me since it sparks discussions. It can also make you see the character in a new light which is a good thing.
I have seen on another thread (won't name it) where posters have gone away and I have PM'd them to find out why. Their feedback was they did not feel welcome and so they gave up. Now that same thread that use to move has stalled slightly because the same things are discussed over and over ad nauseam by the same people. When someone else brings up a new idea or different viewpoint a couple peeps come out, scream (figuratively speaking of course) at them for not understanding the character and/or just ignore them. That is a death* of a thread really to me.
I haven't seen that here on the Kaidan thread but to be honest I occasionally come here to check in since my time is so limited as of late. But I would say that losing people is like losing customers ... "my grandma what an empty store you have here."

Are we clique-y? I don't think so. I think we're familiar with each other - or growing more familiar with each other - and are comfortable enough with each other as Kaidan fans to discuss differing opinions and topics with an open-mindedness and thoughtfulness rarely found on other threads.
Pardon my wall o' text, but I just thought that was worth posting. And now back to your regularly scheduled Kaidan.

He talks about male shep & Kaidan in his audio for the maleshep/Kaidan lovers!
So anything good in store for male Shep and his friendship with Kaidan? He said, I get that people are into the romance, but he was my bro, and what’s the relationship like? Have they patched things up? Are they friends? Are they rivals? Is it player directed at all?
Some of that I can say, some of that I can’t say. But, straight up, obviously that relationship — that male relationship – is also very strong. The thing about Kaidan seems to be that he is a very loyal and devoted guy, and obviously the kind of guy who’ll be there when you need him. He’s not the kind of guy who’ll stab you in the back. He has been very much friends with male Shepard and remains so. Obviously, there are choices in this game, as there are in life. So you’ll get to take some various directions, as you wish, but the relationship remains strong, for sure, between male Shepard and Kaidan.
EDIT: I just wanted to post that first, haven't listened to the whole thing yet.

just throwing in my 2 cents: As far as cliquishness (is that even a word???) goes, I can kind of see both sides of it. I think to newcomers the thread may be a bit intimidating because there's a few of us who've been posting for quite a while either in the Kaas or in the old Kaidan threads and there's a familiarity between those posters - a comfort level if you will not yet established in those new to the thread. However, I have yet to see any newcomers and delurkers turned away or treated poorly by the regular posters. We're all here because we're fans of Kaidan and his pixelated hotness and what disagreements I've read about on this thread or the others have been resolved with little trouble. Honestly, I rarely post outside this thread because of the rampant hostility and animosity of some of the other posters. The douchbaggery is shocking, but I have yet to witness that sort of behavior in the Kaidan threads.

It irks me a lot when Ashley gets called a racist and when Kaidan is called boring/Carth 2.0 (And for that argument, I usually go "Your argument is stupidest one I've ever heard and I'm deaf.")

I've always seen Ash and Kaidan as very level-headed. Perhaps that same trait is reflected in their fans?
