Okay, so new chapter of "If It Meant Living":  Chapter 16: "Interlude"

One final (very) heavy Shenko chapter before the "dark times", as I like to call them - though there will be a lovely Shenko moment at the beginning of the next chapter, and I do have a few plans for Mr. Alenko during the ME2 story arc. 

It's an original story of the shore leave after ME1 that we all know totally happened .

I meant to mention I really enjoyed your Horizon one-shot.  I'm already all tied up in knots trying to figure out what to do with Horizon to make it "better" without changing the outcome, cause I have...plans...for that.  Added "R&R" to my "to-read-soon" list .  I couldn't help but read the last chapter and want to know how they got there!

It was a group made to try to counteract some drama that was going on.  If you all would rather have the song thread in KAAS, I can put it there, but there was already one in there IIRC--not that we can't have a new thread on the topic.

And thank you, Graceyn.    I"m glad you liked both.  I'll have to go back and clean up the beginning of R&R at some point to make it more consistent with doing Arrival post-ME2 and in preparation for ME3 coming up.
And Horizon is a sticky widget.  I'd prefer the option of knocking him down like was done in Because Horizon was Just Bloody Awful (I think I got the title right...close?).  I'll look forward to how you decide to retcon it to make it more palatable than it was in the game itself.

I never heard of Poets of the Fall before until now, but I was listening to them and I have come to the conclusion there music is consistently really good! I wanted to pick a favorite by couldn't make up my mind!  But I really liked the melody of Poets of the Fall - War.

Well I am Canadian so maybe thats why? ....Eh? :innocent: lol I won't lie I do say eh sometimes, but I am from Toronto so Its very rare. & the picture you posted is adorable!




Also @Jade5233 - Sure thats sounds like a great idea so the songs don't get lost! I have already copied all the song people have posted on to a document so I'll post it there as well, once I join the group since I have never seen it till now. My document is already 3 pages long!

Glad to here the Kaidan - Shepard bromance is still on. Hooray for cautious optimism!

I'm sad to hear people leaving the boards. I haven't been here long but most of my experiences (not all) have been positive. My posts get overlooked sometimes, but other times I get to have fun convos with some really interesting people. I'm just stubborn. Being the baby of the family, I don't give up until I get recognized.

 If I could draw I would have gone Halloween costume crazy with all my favorite BioWare (and Obsidian!) characters. I was a bit bummed that I couldn't find anything.

The "Eh" thing is funny because I've seen it used in localizations of JRPGs. My husband says "Well they don't use it in the context you crazy Canadians do" (he's American), but... yes they do! 


And I had a messed up Kaidan related dream last night! It was like we (all of us in this thread) were playing a ME MMO, and we couldn't figure out how to get to this area to find Kaidan, but then someone was like "Oh, you have to go through this hallway to get to the top of the opera house and Kaidan's there!" So all of us with our Shepards were running down this hallway, and then for some reason all you guys disappeared (like when you run into an instance and you're not in a party with people I guess? Haha). Well, I saw Kaidan being followed by some guy on the first floor, so I jumped off the balcony and was sliding down one of the pillars and yelled "KAIDAAAAAAAAN!" Then he looked up and said "Shepard?!" just as I crashed on top of him and knocked him to the floor, and was like "Hey babe. Miss me?" Then I woke up.

My brain, I'm telling ya.

Oh god. I want this sung by Raphael Sbarge and Jennifer Hale. And change the melody to something Celldweller- or Blue Stahli-like (then it would be more Mass Effect-y).

Oh, to throw in my two cents, I kinda like Believe - Celldweller

It's a little... harsh and has a Renegade-Shep touch but the music fits soooo bloody good into the ME-verse = D
