Ashley may "outrank" Shepard if Council will claim Shepard is not a SpeCTRe anymore (say, they did it somewhere between Arrival and trial). But I don't think that any serious disagreement is possible - all in all, the priority is stopping the Reapers and saving the galaxy, and both Shepard and Ashley/Kaidan are mature people. So the contest "who's boss" will likely be delayed (in case there's a serious disagreement, for example, pro-Cerberus Shepard) or just completely forgotten (pro-Council/Alliance Shepard)

Okay, well, talking about bisexual Kaidan always makes me think of Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, because her sexuality changed and evolved over the course of the story. So, I got a hankering to re-watch some of my favourite episodes of Buffy, and the episode "Entropy" pretty much exactly summed up my feelings for Kaidan and my loyal femShep.

For those of you not familiar with the story, the characters Willow and Tara had broken up, because Tara felt that should couldn't trust Willow--a very similar situation to Kaidan and femShep. However, after time, Tara felt that perhaps she and Willow could mend their relationship. They took things very slowly, but after only one conversation, Tara finally came out and said:

"There's just so much to work through. Trust has to build again, on both sides. We have to learn if... if we're even the same people we were, if we can fit in each others' lives. It's a long and important process, and... can we just skip it? Can you... can you just be kissing me now?"

That exactly how I feel about Kaidan and femShep. I just want to reunite and throw my arms around him. I'm so tired of being angry with him. Building trust again is long, long road... or we can just skip to the end and kiss passionately. That's what I want. <3

That is... damn!  I would melt into a pile of fangirl goo if they had that scene in ME3.  Excuse me, I think I have some Buffy to watch tonight

Aww, thanks for the plug!    Drawing Kaidan definitely helped me get over my phobia of drawing male characters.  Hopefully we'll get more screenshots or a trailer featuring him soon, so I can get a better look at his ingame armor.  (And Ashley too...I am *really* interested in drawing her in her ME3 getup).

Following a template like that would be wonderful for the Shepard/Kaidan reunion: not skipping any mention of the need for reconciliation after the conflict that divided them, but showing that need getting swallowed up in the far deeper need of their love.

Oh lord, yes, this exactly. I hope that this is an option in the game for femSheps who stayed loyal to Kaidan. I hop ethat the game doesn't force femShep to stay estranged from Kaidan for too long... because the moment my femShep sees him, she's going to want to give him a big hug. Her love for him trumps all other feelings of betrayal and regret.

Just for giggles Kaidan thread (I need a break from the rest of the forum), did you ever think Kaidan looked like an actor or someone famous?

To me, he's like a mix of Elvis and Jordan Knight.  It's kind of eerie.

I think the reason I had a mild obsession with Darren Criss when he first appeared on Glee last season was because he seemed kind of Kaidan-esque to me.  



That Lebanese male model Jeff Zalzali seems to be the closest we've found, however, to an IRL Kaidan.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who sees some Kaidan in Darren Criss. I forgot where on the internet I found the photos that had me make the connection but I do know TV Tropes led me there.

I find it very suspicious how the spot where Kaidan stands is coincidentally the most red-lighted area on the Normandy
