I've seen this too - and even had time to giggle from thought "Team Major Awesomeness", but didn't recall previous Kirrahe's rank so didn't become alerted. Salarians have another rank system, maybe? Or his new position counts as more valuable for salarians so even new appointment with same rank (only renamed) counts as "promotion"?

Whoops! Wrong poll LOL.  I was referring to the one Isaac posted about least favorite squaddie. I would NEVER vote against my baby Kaidan. He's my most favorite everything. <3

Same, but I also love:
- Lady with the silly hair and her terrible stand in voice actor
- Graphics going from jaw dropping to N64
- Sheploo has Parkinson's
- Anderson giving Sheploo an invisible gun
- People just standing there not moving

I think the invisible gun was my favourite, but the guy in the window runs a close 2nd, lmao.

If I didn't know that was supposed to be Ash I would have thought it was a new squaddie. Surely Kaidan should get some love from Bioware soon and we finally get to see him in a trailer or something.

I don't think there is a solid timeframe. We are all just waiting.

Anyone notice in one of the beta videos, it features Ashley right before Shepard and Anderson go to the hearing, yet when the Reapers attack Anderson contacts "Major Alenko" for a status report, was that some sort of glitch?

EDIT: OK, I just remembered the beta was filled with bugs, it's obviously one of them . . . . .

Bah! Waiting ... always waiting<_< oh well every day that goes by gets us one day closer to some Kaidan love  I just wish there wasn't 121 days and some odd hours to go throu.

 Bummed out, there was speculation that Atton's VA, Nicky Katt, was going to do the Male Smuggler's voice for SW The Old Republic (which would have been the most epic thing EVER), but apparently he's not. *sadface* 


And this totally relates to Kaidan because... Kaidan's VA is Raphael Sbarge... and he plays Carth in KOTOR, and Atton is from KOTOR2 (which is Obsidian, not BioWare!)... six degrees of separation GO!

That's too bad about Atton's VA. My husband is playing a smuggler. That would have been great to hear all of the time!

I watched a couple of minutes of the 14 min vid. Vega? Meh. Too overly muscular and the voice is meh (for me anyways). Can't hold a candle to Kaidan or Kaidan's voice.

And I think that Ash's reaction was great. No animosity at all. I won't judge Shepard's reaction because I don't like mShep's voicing generally anyways.

And I'm afraid that we might have had some people click on Kaidan for least favorite without reading the question. Either that or the haters have come out in force.

There was also speculation that Raphael Sbarge was supposed to be the VAs for one of the smuggler's companions. But he wasn't, I got to play the Beta for a while and meet all (I think) of the companions and he wasn't any of them. *sad face*

No, in the context of the video it is very clear that Anderson is comming the VS who is on their way to the Normandy.

Kaidan's definitely a Major
