Gah I am DYING to see what Kaidan's "casual outfit" is going to be (aka the equivalent of Ash's catsuit) I really hope it isn't just a rehash of the Alliance dress blues that Anderson and Hackett wear, preferably something that looks uniform and combat ready, but also where he doesn't look like he should be standing at attention every second.

I would like it to be something more form-fitting than the dress uniform. Something button down with some chest (and chest hair) showing would be just dandy!

@Jade So something more like Ash's outfit...just in man form? Of course thinking of Kaidan in a V neck just makes me think of that recent SNL sketch w/ Ben Stiller

I like this idea, but I can really see Kaidan blushing if he had to walk around shirtless. It's incredibly silly, but I loved how in DA:O you could make your party members walk around in their undies (or naked if modded). DA2 took away all my streaking fun.  Nothing more lulzy that watching Alsitair fight in his funny small clothes.

I'm curious if that possible to make normal (not skin tight) pants which will normally react on movement? NPCs are usually not shown close enough or they aren't moving in process, but with cinematic dialogues it may be problem. And I don't want see Kaidan in jumpsuit!

Well if you really look at Ash's outfit (I know I'm bringing it up a lot, but it really is the closest hint we got atm) it seems like she's wearing a long, tight jacket over leggings, rather than a jumpsuit. In that case, I'd be more than happy if Kaidan were to get a form fitting jacket ala Ashley...just in a more manish style and minus the V neck.

Takes a unique man to pull off a V neck....not sure if I want to test Kaidan on that

I haven't seen any spoilers directly (I'm not clicking those links), but I have seen a bit of the backwash from concerned people who read the spoilers, and now I'm a bit concerned too. That said, the Mass Effect is supposedly about choice, so I will continue to believe that it's possible to make choices that will give us a happy ending with Kaidan.

Anyway, I'm hoping this thread stays spoiler-free. I hope to use it to get my Mass Effect BSN fix and avoid the rest of the forums until March. Kaidanites are such pleasant and delightful people that I couldn't be happier spending the wait with any other fan group. :-)

Yeah agreed, I have been trying to avoid spoliers as much as possible, but its become really difficult on some charactrer threads. So I hope the Kaidan thread will still be safe to voyage to because I love you guys/gals, and enjoy the Kaidan filled discussions.<3

I really think NOW would be a good time for Mr. Sbarge to put out another of his wonderful audioblogs/podcasts. Something new to focus on and to put a smile on all our faces.

I'm just as optimistic about Kaidan as I was two days ago and I read everything (although you can rest assured I will never breathe anything regarding any spoilers) . BioWare loves us fans, guys, and they would never punishus by making us miserable. Who knows what will be in the final game? It's still a mystery! I predict ME3 will be the most amazing,
mind-blowing game to come from this company yet. <3 Can't wait for March...it's gonna be awesome.

& your welcome Bekkael, I do like bitter sweet endings! But my main playthroughs ALWAYS try to have the best possible ending, and I better have it come ME3 for Kaidan!

Also your words have put me at ease, I haven't read any of the spoliers, but the feelings I am seeing from people in the character threads have made me really nervous & wary. So thanks for the confidence boost! <3

Yes.  We definitely need a Sbarge/Kaidan boost to help us get over this leak-angst.  Especially since Once Upon a Time didn't even have him in it yesterday.  But it was a very good story none-the-less.

I agree a Sbarge/Kaidan Boost is definetly in order! Until then Team Kaidan!
& yesterdays episode of Once Upon a Time was great! except you know for no Raphael Sbarge. Hopefully he is in next weeks episode, if not the one after that is dedicated to his chatacter so that should be good, looking forward to that one!

You know, his Alliance outfit in ME1 was lovely.  Form fitting, yet professional.  You could see lots of body detail.
And no.  Not really V-neck.  I was thinking more button down.  Better for the imagination--like my femShep being distracted by the idea of ripping the buttons off.  With her teeth.

While the uniforms from ME1 were certainly snugerific, I'd be a tad disappointed in Bioware for lack of creativity...

You know what? No matter how badly things might go in ME3, I can rely on Sinvraal to write amazing fanfic about it. She wasn't afraid to add some non-canon plot elements to her previous work, so if whatever Bioware gives us is face-palmingly awful she'll write something better. Honestly, the Kaidan in my head in about half Bioware's work and half her work at this stage anyway.

This is not to denigrate any of the fanfic writers in this thread. I read quite a bit of your work and it's excellent. Sinvraal is just my favourite. :-)

Yeah... Well I got that covered. But wasn't the early access only for multiplayer?

Hmm... I'm really wondering now about Shepard's and Kaidan's relationship. I eventually gave in and watched the intro and as far as I can tell things will not magically get fixed. It's going to be really interesting to say the least.

Without spoiling anything, I would say that they'll need some pretty intense therapy, both together and separately, to get everything right-ish between them.

I never thought that things would magically work out okay between them. I'd be kinda disappointed if they were. It would be too easy. I always felt that they need to work things out. But I hope it doesn't take an inordinate amount of time, especially for a paragon Shepard who was faithful to her one true love/moral compass.

Wait - non-BF3-owners won't get the MP-demo or do we just have to wait some additional days?
I'd like to play both. It won't change my oppinion of the game - I'm going to buy it - but playing the coop!demo will help to reduce delay to ME3 a bit
