I think I remember seeing the tweet, but can't remember where.

Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of marriage in the vidya in games like this. Yeah, sure, it's sweet and all, but I'd rather there be more time spent on making the relationship seem really deep in the game. In the long and the short of it, Shepard has only been together with Kaidan for a few months at best. This is why I'm hoping ME3 will expand on that before worrying about wedded bliss.

but they have know eachother for year if they wanna rush the wedding dont stop em i want ME3 to end on a cheesy gay note and garrus would be my best man.

There's something about in-game marriage that makes my left eye twitch. M/M, F/F or M/F, I just can't see it working without looking horribly cheesy.

I won't mind a marriage but I want it done off camera, similar to what happens at the end when the Human Noble marries Alistair/Anora. Or maybe just have it proposed at some point in the game and it is left up to us to fill in when and how it happens.

My shep would be proud of Kaidan becoming a spectre but she would wander about constantly pointing out to him what douchebags the councillors are, espec the turian chappy. Like on an hourly basis.

My paragon Shepard would be proud of Kaidan for becoming a Spectre, and she would think he deserves it. My renegade would roll her eyes and wonder why he still can't figure out that the Citadel Council is incompetent and not worth the effort.

It will be very interesting to see how the Council reacts when the Reapers appear. Apologies are in order.

my Shepard would be all "Huh. Grats." Then wonder if he's meant to be her replacement and worry that he's not being recognized for his merits. But it's not like she knows what the hell's been happening during the time she was dead. x_x (And probably still need to shake information out of people)

Lol..yeah that computer Kaidan was working on.....it would be nice if the characters moved around a lil bit at least. Also it would be nice if there was some more...recognition of events that took place on a mission...I mean, loyalty, or maybe camaraderie built because of interaction and experience with each other. The way it is when you really work with ppl.

Like one time I had Jack in my squad and there was this news blurb about purgatory being destroyed. It woulda been nice and more realistic if there was some reaction. A one liner. A "heh heh" something

Wedding in a game like Mass Effect would be cheesy, sure. So yeah I just want it done off screen...like what they did with the human noble in DAO. That said, the wedding mod is pretty adorable, and works well with the game :wub:

I wouldn't be surprised if marriage becomes an option. Tying the knot with your ME1 LI would be a very nice conclusion to the romance plot, and a pretty damn good reward to those who stayed loyal. Getting hitched on the Normandy before a critical final mission? Hell yeah!

Also, I agree with what someone said some posts back about marriage not getting in the way of Shepard's and Kaidan's responsibilities in the military. At the very core marriage is about being committed to one person for the rest of your life. Whether it be settling down and having kids or shooting Reapers off the face of the galaxy, the important thing is that that bond is there.

Not saying that marriage is required to share that bond, but it makes it all the more special. <3

Ok here's another question

If your Shep is biotic...does that play a factor in their relationship? For instance Teddy is an Adept, so she feels comfortable around Kaidan, and he knows what its like when she's stressed her biotics flare up

Plus...didn't Mordin hint that...well..biotics= slightly better sexy time?

About locations on the ship - from places previously taken by yet not confirmed squadmates I'd say Miranda's office (rather big section, suits for SpeCTRe and high ranked officer, makes sense for both Kaidan and Ashley) or AI core (the only important console not taken by Tali and Garrus, lights are always dim there. Very close to med bay in case of migraine or events so serious that the second medic would be required. But jealous Joker is jealous) or Mordin's tech lab (Mordin very likely won't return... and if Kaidan's place would be lab and Ashley will sit in armory, symmetry will be proud).
