I have no preference any way, being called anything is actually kinda awesome Lady is just fine, but I'll always hear it in Ross' high pitched voice.

I know this has been brought up before many moons ago, but after playing DA:O again for the gazillionth time, I realize how much I wish the LI scenarios were similar in the ME universe. All of the romances are on their own timeline, and coincide with different events in the game. A PC can hop in the sack with Morrigan or Zevran right off the bat, or chose to have a relationship with Alistair or Leiliana that takes more time to develop.  Since Kaidan's relationship with Shepard is a bit strained, it would be nice to see it be rebuilt like Alistair's romance; where it is obvious that the two people love each other but are taking their time to make sure they create a solid relationship. Their feelings for each other are shown by saying (and doing) things that hint at the fact.

But instead of declaring their love in one big moment right before the galaxy is about to implode, a series of LI moments are spread out during the course of the game, and the "big LI scene" happens after a series of relationship-specific incidents (e.g. In DA:O, the "scene" happens with Alistair after your PC has helped him find a certain relative, a quest you only receive if your PC has a positive relationship with him).

By LI moments, I don't mean special dialogue about the state of the universe that only LIs are privy to à la ME1, but rather moments where they sit down and discuss what is going on between the two of them. While I don't want everything patched up in the first minute of the game, I hate watching Distrustful Kaidan and I hope in ME3 he comes across as someone who is obviously still in love with Shepard, which is how I interpreted the Horizon email. I was super surprised to discover people were upset by what he wrote, when it was so very much in character, as he "always leaves a way out..." On a random note, I know it would be totally OOC for Kaidan, but I personally love to watch Alistair gush and blush over the Warden. That could just be me...

^^ I agree with all of that. I really hope that the ME3 romances are structured more like those in DA:O. And I am a big Alistair fan as well. Aside from how adorable and shy he is my favorite Alistair trait is his sense of humor. He came everywhere with me. I hope Kaidan has more jokes this time around. He can be really funny but it's not often enough for my liking.

He clearly tells "Major Alenko" that he can't get ahold of the Normandy, and that "you'll have to bring her around" and to meet up at the landing point.

Sorry, just squeezing whatever new info I can and thought I might clear that up.

The biggest proof that Anderson talked to VS is a line he uses a minute after "Major Alenko". "Ashley is heading to the Normandy". How exactly Anderson is supposed to know Ashley is doing this and even that Ashley is alive if he just sent someone called Alenko there and didn't mention Ashley at all?

Does this mean in the 4 or so months that Shepard has been grounded on earth, the VS has been commanding the Normandy?

They may of overlooked the Normandy's upgrades or had a personal interest in it.

Despite all the negativity circling around I'm going to stick to what Raphel Sbarge said. He said steamy, passionate, and the most beautiful writing he has ever seen. I doubt he would lie about that. He made 3 individual audio blogs about that! He went into detail about how loyal he is to Shepard and depends on Shepard.

I think there is going to be some awkwardness but look how long Shep and Kaidan been apart. It is going to take a little time to get to know eachother again. It would be like falling in love all over again. Except there is one obstacle they must pass to continue forward. Do you trust me? Once you get beyond that obstacle I think it's all passion baby:wub:

I also agree with all of you that have been commenting on DA:O relationship quests. Like with Alistairs family. How much more personal can you get with that?! Kaidan family is in Vancouver right? Wouldn't that be a great quest to bring you more closer than to make sure his family is ok. I hope we get to sit down and have convo's DA:O style as well. Maybe private chats in Captian quarters that lead to more *cough*engaging activities*cough*

You're thinking of Curling. Shuffleboard is what they have on cruise ships.
