Love the art, guys!

My long, personal opinion:
Well, regarding all the hoopla, I guess you all know I retain my optimism, despite what I read. Why? Because based on past games, they are never going to completely screw over a LI without any player choice or recourse; particularly those characters that are from the very first game that people who played ME completely fell in love with. Fan rage would be off the charts! I mean, if you can still get a happy(ish) ending with Anders if you want it (despite the cluster f**k of the endgame), the VS should be a walk in the park, and because so many people were furious with the whole Anders/DA2 character crucification thing, I don't think they will repeat the mistakes of the DA2 team....and remember these
are different teams and writers.
I think ME2 was the worst downpoint in the whole series for me, and things can only get better after the depression-darkfest
that game was. I think I mentioned before that I played it at release and was so disheartened by the storyline of being separated from your LI and having to work for an organization that I absolutely DESPISED from all the missions in the first game, that I set it aside for an entire year before I could even stand to look at it, muchless play it again.
After so many years of following this series and hoping the conclusion will make it all worthwhile, I'm not prepared to give up. I still have my CE all prepaid and won't consider cancelling for any reason, because I need that closure. Now, if upon playing the game I feel the storyline and characters in ME3 suddenly change, and it feels like a betrayal of all I knew and loved from the Mass Effect world, I won't be prepared to give my loyalty or trust to another BW venture. I'm willing to trust them with ME3, and if it is a miserable screw-up, then I'm breaking up with them.

But I really don't think it will happen! It would be bad business, and I think they're smarter than that. They want to tell a good story, yes; but they want to keep customers too. I really do think ME3 will satisfy most of us, or I wouldn't still be here.

Tl;dr I will buy the game and play it, and only then will I be in a position to either praise it as a success, or dismiss it as a dismal failure.
After my first playthrough, I'll be glad to write a review for those of you waiting to hear how others like it before deciding to get it or not.
