And yes, if you chose the top (flirty) or middle (friendly) option with Kelly during one of her "Investigate" options (I forget which one), then after you talk to her after the Collector's Ship mission, she'll say "If EDI were a person I'd give her a big hug" and you can reply "I'm right here. Where's my hug?" and then you can invite her to your cabin for dinner. After that she'll offer to feed your fish.

Although in my very first PT, I asked her for a hug and she gave me one. I've never been able to get another.

The hamster will never die on you. He's been my buddy on every playthrough after I discovered you had to feed your fish all the time or they would die...and I just don't go there with Kelly. Some of my Sheps like her okay and others told her to gtf away (my renegade, of course).

I don't like the Asari as a whole too much either. In fact, the only Asari I like is Samara. I guess that's what happens when an entire Mary Sue-like race is constantly thrown in your face.

Awww. Well, now that I know that I need to make a trip to my favorite shop on the Citadel and get Space Hamster. I don't really want to buddy up with Kelly. I don't trust her for some reason.

Thanks everyone for telling me . I know it's a silly little detail, but it makes me inordinately happy.

Its okay if you happen to like Kelly or any other character.  That's why theres a variety. 

I just don't trust her.  She was put there by TIM to be the team shrink.  Like she's not feeding info right back to him? I find it creepy that with every male alien squadmate she wants to be VERY friendly with them.
And there's no way I'm going to open up to her after Horizon.  I tell her it's in the past so that she can pass that on to TIM.

Jen:  And I go back to my cabin to feed my fish, get away from the ship full of misfits, and to gaze at Kaidan's picture.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me.  If he's with my Shepard, then no one regardless of sex is a threat, right?
And if I can romance him with my mShep, then I might have a new reason to play as mShep.

I don't really care, but there will be disappointed maleSheps if he isn't. As to whether it could happen: DA2.

can of worms   if you feel like it/have some time to spare, skim throgh this thread- the subject came up a few times. to summarize - there are people here who every very much for it, people who are agaisnt it, and people who don't care one way or another.

personaly, I feel like it would be tacked on, and I have my fears abotu the specific implementation of it, but at this point its too late to change things one way or another, so whatever happens - happens.

It doesn't seem that unbelievable that Kaidan can be bi, but yea since I always play FemShep he'll just be as straight as he was through 1 and 2 so *shrug* I don't see why those MaleShep players can't have their happy ending with Major Alenko too

I just really hope they don't recycle the same love scenes for both sexes ala Dragon Age 2  That will earn Bioware some nikkirage for sure
