For those of you who read a bit of what the guy posted and are alarmed, fear not, it is just one POSSIBLE outcome, the other is much happier

As for Liara, I won't go completely into it, but I will say this:  What gives her the right to do whatever she wants with Shepard's remains?  There are a lot of others who would have the say first: Hannah Shepard for Spacers, Kaidan/Ashley, the bloody Alliance fer cryin' out loud (remember Nirali Bhatia?).   And then to NOT let Kaidan/Ashley know what she did & WHY she did it, when it's very well likely she knew there was a romantic relationship?  Unconscionable.

I don't hate Liara. Like I said before. I do see where Liara is coming from. I know she feels guilty as hell cause Feron sacrificed himself and she has lived with that guilt of not knowing if Feron is alive or not. Also for the last 2 yrs she has held onto a secret. She is also scared to death that you might hate her. What is bothering me is that most likely in ME3 they are just gonna zooooom over that topic like it never even happened. Like Batteries said if you don't pick the right convo you don't even get a confession from Liara. I just don't want SB dlc to be like the ok so now Shep knows...we are done with that plot and move on.
I want them to bring Liara handing your body over to Cerberus in ME3 so it makes Shep life a little easier and also so if your with Ashley/Kaidan they know you weren't lying to them about not being dead. Liara can say yes I saw Shep dead. I'm glad she gave me a second chance! At some point in time she should of told the people who loved you. Even despite her fears of how angry Kaidan/Ashley or Hannah your space mom might get. They had the right to know. I think us poor Sheps romancing Kaidan/Ashley is going to have one of the most strained beginning(rekindling) love relationship and a little help from Liara would be nice. Liara/Shep relationship reunion in ME3 is going to be smoother(unless you cheated) than a Kaidan/Ashley relationship going into ME3. So I DO NOT hate Liara. I just will rage like a nerd if they just bypass that whole plot point in ME3.

If I were Kaidan there would be so much anger mixed with a ton of guilt when it comes to what Liara did and why.
 
First ... I left hard headed Shepard on the Normandy and put my rump in an escape pod. Why didn't I get others to safety and then go get her? Yes, she told me to "go!" but damn her. If only I had followed after her I might have saved her .... That would be such a big part of my grief ... not going after her and the what-ifs.

Second, why didn't I track her body down? Why is that asari the one who helped bring her back? Now that would chap my hide. Major jealousy over what she had accomplished and will Shepard turn to her especially after our very ugly moment on Horizon. Not something that I would really want to admit to though.

But part of why I like Kaidan is that at the end of the day he is a grown up man who would do a lot of soul searching and realize where his anger really comes from. He is level-headed and compassionate, for the most part, so to be honest if he did say something out of anger to her ... he would just as quickly apologize and thank her for bringing back the woman that he loves. He is not a spiteful or petty man. At least not the Kaidan in my ME world.

I just think that showing the confrontation would be a little touchy. Some would use it to show the VS in a bad light while others Liara. Haters gotta hate. I personally like leaving some things to our own imagination so that we can paint the characters and events with our own colors.

If you want Kaidan to backhand Liara for what she did? You can have that in your headcanon. I personally see them having a private conversation where Liara apologizes for not telling him earlier and him saying a few heated things as she lets him. But by the end of the conversation they would work through it and move on.

Now my Ashley? She would be a different story and poor PV Shepard would have to protect poor Liara until she calmed down. That would be a little rougher of a moment although Ashley would at some point realize that without Liara ... well, Shepard would be gone for good.

I'm afraid I'd rush through with my Kaidan-loving Shepard to get a romance that might not even be there, so I decided to actually use another Shepard for my first playthrough entirely

@ Criz.. unless there's updated draft in official January demo (and I'm guessing after this leak, bioware will be doubly careful in making sure its not there), we will not know for sure, until the game release or maybe few days prior.

the results of the leak are.. inconclusive, as in the dialogue that was uncovered could ft new OR old relationships equally well. so its not even known for sure if Kaidan/Ash would be available for new to ME3 relationship at all.

They're 100% conclusive in the fact that there is a new romance path for Kaidan, not just continuation of the old one. They're incolclusive whether this new romance is available for FemShep, ManShep or both.
