@sweekeny Is that the pink ranger?

I don't really find it hard to do stupid things as long as I'm not taking the playthrough seriously and treating it as "canon". So if anyone wants I can save Ashley for you. I'm a slow player though.

My boyfriend always romances Ashley so we balance each other out.

I want a Kaidan t-shirt, I woudl wear it all the time till it got all smelly.

When I was talking about Mass Effect with the two people I know that play it and romances came up their honest response to me saying my LI is Kaidan was, "Who?" Then the one who actually played Mass Effect 1 remembered who he was when I explained he was the biotic guy in the Alliance, then he explained Ash has awesome combat skills so he had never bothered using Kaidan or even talking to him. The other remained confused because he hadn't been interested enough in the first to play it through.

I've saved Ashley once and I'm pretty excited to see her in ME3. I had to force myself to save her but it wasn't that I just didn't want to nuke Kaidan or that I don't care for her because I really do love Ash. It just makes more sense to me to save Kaidan, whether romanced or not, because of the way I rp Virmire.

I was also considering, in my Maleshep play, of the possiblity of keeping Ashley.  Though my tastes differ from yours, I still don't know if I can make the desicion.  But that's why they have it there  So everyone can take a different path to lead somewhere else.  It ones of the many things I love about the game  the possibility of choices

I did replay Virmire to make sure I did not miss some objective, that would save both.
On one of my playtroughs, I was really considering keeping him alive, but at the end of the day, Kaidan seemed more like the noble type to stay behind. I believe its something he says, while Shepard has to make the decision.
I did meet him using unimported female character, yay.

I actually got my best friend hooked on Dragon Age 2.... She loves Isabela and Fenris. I've tried to get her into Mass Effect, but she's not into shooters and aliens. Although understands why I like it. 

My brother is the only one I know who plays Mass Effect; and I didn't get him into it. I was home on leave and brought DA:O and ME1-2 with me and he played them. Now that I'm a civillian he just "steals" my Xbox360 copies when he feels like it.

I resisted playing ME1 for so long because I don't like shooters, I prefer swords, lol. But ME1 sucked me in with it's story. The fact that Kaidan was voiced by Rafael Sbarge had nothing to do with it, lmao.

I've never been able to Virmire Kaidan, even with the comic.

I wish some of my friends played ME. Or any Bioware game, to be honest. *Though I've only had the pleasure of playing ME, DA and KotOR serieses, due mainly to lack of money and inability to trust online video game retailers. Except for Steam because they're cool.* I have all of one friend who would ever be willing to play this, and she only has a rubbish computer and a PS3, so she'd never get to meet Kaidan properly.  Might be able to convince her to play using that pink ranger!Kaidan, though... maybe not though... *is slightly scarred for life with that* 

I suppose I should get back to playing ME2. I've just started it and it's hard to motivate myself when I know I've seen half of the scenes with Kaidan in them already...

I would say yes, do it for me... but wouldn't know how you'd get my playthrough then give it back  I'm confused how it would work.  But I just know I could never live through Virmiring Kaidan   I think I tried once and right after I made the choice I shut off the system and ran away trying to forget my mistake ;-;

He does seem like the more noble one, and would want to take one for the team, it's just sad you have to choose one   and yay =D he was alive for you!  I am pleased with knowledge.

I understand how your feeling. My friends are not gamers, aside from facebook games like sims social. (Which is actually kinda addicting after they got me to play ).

I do have my brother who first introduced me to Bioware with Kotor and then well I just ate up every other Bioware game since then. But I don`t count him among people I can freely talk about ME with because I can`t talk to him without being spoiled or hearing some rant about whatever he heard, to which I cover my ears and go "la,la,la,la,la not listening". So ya I try to avoid it.

Thats what BSN and this thread is for though! I can swoon about characters and people will actually know why and who I am swooning about!

Anyways pink armor is so last year...
