That's too many. Why can't it be march already? Or why can't BW give us a little something to tied us over. They should do something along the lines of what they did for DA and release some tiny bit of info a week or every couple of weeks. The waiting is agony. But I guess that's how they get their kicks. Give us at least some new Kaidan pics.:Dplease.

I left Kaidan once. I was going for a love and lost Shepard. Started the romance then he died on Virmire. I'm a sucker for tragedy. Plus I had to have at least one Shepard who had Ashley alive if only to see the difference in game play. Games like Mass Effect I like to actually play the game fully and try to experience everything. Though a word from the wise: if you choose to leave Kaidan on Virmire, for the love of everything that is holy never ever ever ever ever leave him at the bomb site. There is an extra scene showing him (or ash) making a last stand. Its awesomely badass of them but very hard to watch.

I will not be dumping Kaidan for JVegas (my nickname for him). Every time I look at him I see Ronnie from Jersey Shore (inspiration for lame nickname). But he'll clearly be a good bro. I really hope he laughs like a machine gun.

About the scenery in Skyrim, yes it is amazing. I too sometimes spend time staring at the sky. It sometimes becomes even more epic when viewed through my Khajiit's night vision. Of course nothing will ever beat the night skies of the Shivering Isles, but it comes pretty close. I also spend hours in the library just reading books before I remember that I should probably be clearing out a bandit cave or killing a dragon or something. It would be pretty cool if that could happen with ME3 but I doubt it.

I left Kaidan behind once because my brother wanted to see what would happen. I told him it would be miserable, since my closest save had Kaidan at the bomb site, but he insisted. As soon as it was over I restarted and went and went back to save him. My brother thought it was so tragic he never wanted to see it again and got sucker punched by the romance theme that played when you're on the Normandy after that mission. I might have to do it to have Ash in ME3 though, she was close with my Shep.

Did I leave Kaidan on Virmire? Once during my very first playthrough to see if I could save Ash and Kaidan, then about cried when the music played after he died, and then quickly reloaded.

@ pretty scenery - I hope we have some more ME1 planetary exploration "wow neato!" moments in 3.

I've never left him on Virmire.  Nothing against Ashley; she's a great character.  I just can't do it.

One time, though, just after replaying Virmire, I was watching my boyfriend play on his Xbox.  He was playing something that had Ashley's VA in it (can't remember her name, sorry).  It was too weird hearing her voice when I'd JUST had to watch her die

Edit:  I know this is rare, but I had a thought.  And I'm feeling excessively chatty tonight.  What exactly do you all think it means that Kaidan "always leaves a way out?"  I was thinking about that statement the other night, and came to the unhappy conclusion that has has difficulty committing to important decisions.  Granted I adore his character, and turned the idea over in my head for far too long, but I couldn't shake my original conclusion.  During the locker scene with Shep he makes this statement again, and it makes me wonder how fully committed to a relationship with him/her he could actually be.  Why the need for a way out if you're fully committed to someone or something?  Thoughts?

You can make a second Shepard, you know. I have several. One for each alignment and love interest. My main and my favorite is for Kaidan though. If Vega is a LI then he will also be getting a Shepard, specially made for him.

I have 3 femsheps right now, one loyal, one w/Garrus, and one who is probably not actually going to make it through the romance with Jacob after all.  I was really looking forward to the priiize, but I just don't think I can make her turn down Kaidan's photo again.  It makes me feel dirty.

And hell, my Sheploo might end up with him too if that's an option.  We could use a Sassy Gay Shepard (see below).

I take it as, "Don't let yourself be backed into a wall."

At the lockers, it's probably worth remembering that he wasn't fully committed to the relationship: "I've guess we've got some downtime to figure out what 'we' are, huh?"  He doesn't know, and they really haven't been given a chance to hash it out beyond the battlefield thing.
