I don't think he would hold a grudge unless he's totally ooc, but I do think he'll be cautious and wait and see how she acts, what she says, to see if she's the same Shepard before he relaxes around her.

It will be interesting to see how the chain of command works now.  Obviously the Normandy is Shep's ship and being the pc Shep will be in charge but I wonder whether he will question decisions at first or just wait to see how she plays things.

I don't think Kaidan's the type to hold a grudge.

I'm sure he'll be happy that Shepard came back to Earth for the trial and told Cerberus to stick it up their posterior.

I think there'll be a bit of awkwardness on both sides at first. Neither of them really know where they stand with each other and the fact that Shep was responsible for blowing up a mass relay could cause a bit of tension, especially if he hasn't seen Shep's report. I actually wonder whether too many people have seen the report givent hat Hackett didn't take it. To me it felt like he was setting Shep up and can deny any knowledge of the whole mass relay/batarian blowing up scenario. But maybe thats just my paranoia speaking, lol.

I suppose there will be a lot of mistrust between them. Especially from Kaidan, I guess it will take some time to get him to accept Shep again for who s/he really is ----> Shep, and not some weird cerberus clone.

Yup, we know. It's gonna be based on Mass Effect 1 and have male Shepard. Been confirmed by Legendary Pictures. We wondered a few times what does it mean for Kaidan (probably nothing good lol...)

^This.^ Exactly. I expect a lot of awkwardness as they try to reconcile the relationship. They were an item before Shep became Space Jesus.

Couple her death with TIM-fueled rumors that Shep was with Cerberus, add in lingering unresolved feelings and a good dollop of Horizon, mix in a pinch of fake death rumors and a dash of batarian genocide, and you've got a recipe for Awkwardness Galore!

Uh, but on topic . . . (wow this new, I am on topic:lol:)

There is definately going be awkwardness at first. He is unsure of Shepard but I feel like soon he would see she is the person he loved and try to make things right.

But I don't want their to be some magical rainbow that in an instant fixes everything. You don't go from 'I am soo sad, my love is dead!' to 'Wait, she is alive and working for terrorists. I don't know her anymore. What is happening!?' to 'I love you again, here have fresh baked cookies with names on them! Have an over sized stuffed bear!' with no grey areas. That doesn't happen.

Not even sure if it's physically possible to do. Both Ash & Kaidan fans asked many times BioWare peeps to reveal the names of models/actors who provided faces for Ash & Kaidan. We never got the info. It is possible that it's because BioWare doesn't know it themselves. There was a topic about it few months ago and someone said how often game devs literally use people from the street, scan them, pay them right after and never see them again. Someone mentioned how Valve did it with Half-Life 2. It's also possible the records on who provided Kaidan's face are buried in BW/EA archives and they really have no idea where to start looking.

Otherwise, I don't see a reason why they wouldn't tell us the name if it was a professional model/actor.

 I reckon he'd be a bit cautious at first, but it'd only be awkward for a bit until he realises that Shep isn't being totally controlled by Cerberus and is still herself. *Hmm, I wonder if the amount of paragon/renegade points you got in each game would change what people thing? Like if you're a total paragon in the first game but change to renegade in the second...*

And am I the only one who thinks the Normandy SR2 won't be available in ME3? Its Cerberus tech, the Alliance woudln't trust it and might want to take it apart. Perhas Kaidan will have his own ship and the Alliance will call to take it away and give it to Shep... although that'd be quite cruel of them to do that...

Nah, the Alliance have claimed the Normandy, refitted it and painted it in Alliance colours.  So Shepard still gets the SR2.
