That was the only thing I found disappointing about LotSB, when Liara asks "so what are you fighting for" I was screaming at the monitor "Kaidan!" For something reason Shepard didn't hear me. Though the paragon option was very much in character for her I still would have liked her to say something about Kaidan in a positive light. The only time he is mentioned is the renegade option when Liara asks Shepard how she is feeling. And then its in anger. I found it a little unfair that all the other LI gets something beside Ashley and Kaidan.

*scratch* quoted the wrong passage I think. I meant that Liara only mentions Kaidan/Ash in anger when "I'm frustrated" is chosen^^

I feel vindicated by one of the comments already there, some guy called Ryan points out that Kaidan IS a good character but he bascially gets a bad rep because he's the female only love interest, and how many typical bloke gamers are going to keep him over Ashley. It unfortunetly is the sad truth, we all love him but alot of bone-headed blokes out there aren't going to. Their loss!

Ugh, seriously, for gayShep, that's as close to a "romance" scene as he can get. Carrying Kaidan to safety while totally not grabbing his ass and then assuring him that you'd never leave him behind... Then gently helping him deal with the loss of Ash... Be still, my beating heart!

And in my head-canon, Shepard totally carries Kaidan all the way to the infirmary, where he softly lays Kaidan and... tends his wounds. <3

It was actually a joke my boyfreind made when i was playing mass effect two and he was listening to blue oyster cult
