It's not even the only "Shepard has an alien hybrid baby with Garrus/Thane and Kaidan is her abusive ex" story I've seen on ff.net.

I proofread and edit for style and grammar for a living, so even skimming those kind of stories are torture for me.

Yup, we know. It's gonna be based on Mass Effect 1 and have male Shepard. Been confirmed by Legendary Pictures. We wondered a few times what does it mean for Kaidan (probably nothing good lol...)

Not gonna be in it or he'll be a grizzled stereotypical marine in space.

did someone mention Fragile Siha story? you know, I was a little annoyed at her handling of Kaidan and his mustache twirling ways, but then I realized that no character was spared, even the ones that the writer actually seems to like, at which point, I just chalked it up to twilight syndrome

Argh yeah, I like Horizon in itself but I think Shep's dialogue was more than a little derp - except on the more renegade side. Those lines are fine, in my opinion.

Yea, especially if his turning down of hot tentacle threesome is anything to go by. *Mild spoiler ahead* Although I was three-quarters joking though, ultimately the fate and lives of fictional characters lie completely in the hands of writers, hence the screams of OOC since the leak, and somebody does in fact cheat on Shep possibly. But yea I didn't hear of any such things about Kaidan obviously

Quick q for those who are spoilered up to date and are unhappy about it: Without having to spoil anything, was it just the circumstances you dislike, or is Kaidan written out of character?




Ok I missed the cheating thing where was that?Can someone fill me in? or if it's too spoilery PM me. Also Shep isn't all that old, so how would she be a cougar? She was dead for two years and she didn't have two birthdays. So technically when she was brought back she was the same age she was when she died. How old is Vega, have they leaked that info on him?

Yeah, but Shepard is also like "Cerberus! Hell yeah! At least these guys get sh*t done!" when she's in Renegade mode. The lines don't sound derp, but make you sound pro-Cerberus (IMO), which none of my Shepards are.

I usually end up using a mix of neutral and paragon responses. (No "Hey Kaidan, how ya been?" crap for me. <_<)

I know right?  Even though I'm Team Kaidan I still find that kind of thing humorous. (as long as people aren't being completely serious... then I find it funny for a whole different reason. )

Bloody hell. That's a bit extreme..

Truth be told, Horizon was nothing compared to what BW likes to do to the characters you care about (or what you may have to do to them).

They're merciless. So, I figure we got off pretty easy. Kaidan's actually still alive, and gonna join your crew. But I have trust issues w/BW.

I dont think BW are gonna go round killing everyone important. Just some..

Imo it could be similar to what they did in ME2 where depending on your actions characters can live or die. I mean BW is always about the PC's choices.

That mirrored my reaction perfectly. At first I was all "D'aww Kaidan dolphin is cute" But by the end of it I just thought "Oh noes the poor dolphins! Why must you feed them you heartless animals? Why!?"

I will never understand the need some poeple have to trash the EX.  I mean, you chose him/her.  so either you are pretty much admiting that you have horrible taste in partners, or you are just trying to convince yourself, you did the right thing by dumping them.  meh

Ok where did you get the going on dates news from? I've looked around and I can't find it. Was it confirmed by a dev? That would be really cool to go on a date but at the same time...the repears and Cerberus are trying to kill you lol!

I can't go into the general thread cause I would be tempted to get into a argument. Most threads are VS vs. _____? I just can't read them anymore. If it isn't a VS vs ___? Then they have basically a spoiler in the name of their title thread
