How would the date thing work? I mean I feel little intimate moments are what they should sprinkle into the game and they compound eventually and then we can have our normal 'we might die night'. I really like the DA:O romance style and would like to see something that in ME3. But dates, in my opinion, would not fit into the game. There are giant sentient space ships killing everyone and Shep and Kaidan are off feeding ducks by a pond. That seems weird. I think 'dates' might the wrong word to use for the romance moments/scenes.
But I am all for some new romance scenarios!

Although i love the idea of having dates, i do agree. Maybe it was just the wrong word to use. I doubt we'll even get to see the dates anyway..

Yeah, maybe it's just my idea of a date, but I feel like it wouldn't fit. Unless they have some cute scenes on the ship with make shift dinner dates or something. But as far as leaving the ship, where could they go where people aren't being blown up? (So far the galaxy has basically been described as being in constant turmoil) I guess some where would have to be reaper free (there is going to be the need for shopping like in the other two games so it has to be calm somewhere, if only for that that pupose) but not long enough that have time to stroll about and relax.

I don't know anymore. There are too many variables to consider. My brain hurts.

I'm not sure what I can say about the 'dates' that wouldn't be a spoiler. From what I've read, though, they sound like believable enough scenarios for the atmosphere.

Good morning my beautiful fellow Kaidanites!!

Last night I got my 2nd vanguard into ME2...why do I keep making all these pt's?! I'll tell you why...this one wants to be especially mean to TIM which I've never done before, heehee.

Edit: Also, up to 62 sigs for a Kaidan hoodie! And on the subject of dates: I liked how the DA:O relationships were set up. You could chat with your hunny whenever you wanted and even smooch him on impulse!

If it starts off with Anderson talking about getting fleets, just drag the time thingy back to the beginning. For some reason it keeps jumping to that part. It's still rough though, Beta afterall.

Lilith was nothing and he said friends basically made him go out with this doctor. Don't worry gurls, he's still madly in love with Shep, he couldn't hide it on Horizon

someone mentioned that shep and alenko have an accidental meeting with someone on the citedal (i'm assuming its said doctor) and angst ensues. So I'm thinking more than imbibing booze occured with Mr Alenko and his Doctor pal. Could be wrong though, but I doubt it. The doctor has to show up at some point no? 

 If only to give the fangirls a clear picture of who they should be sharpening their pitchforks for. Then again, maybe the angst occurs because he shot the doc down?

I really hope it's not Dr Michel, hopefully Kaidan has better taste, lol. I didn't like her in ME1 from the minute she said she didn't like patching up Alliance soldiers. She seems to be sweet on Garrus anyway.

@fdgvdddvdfdfbdfb : I'm the one that created that Kaidoodledance on a whim. End-of-semester-school-deadlines stress equals severe brain damage that only happy Kaidan doodling can repair That, and reading through this thread to give me something to smile about. I often fling many Kaidan related doodles on my Google+ account (see link in my signature)

My added 2 cents on topic: I wouldn't mind dating. I'd imagine something in the lines of my FemShep dragging Alenko to the Afterlife VIP area for 'Undercover investigation' with 'mandatory dress-code' so she can make him dance with her, denying it's secretly a date. I'd love to see something similar as the approval rating initiated scenes in DA:O since I am a huge sucker for cute cut-scenes like Alistair handing your female warden a rose, that made me squeel so much and feel derpy-happy despite that there's a blight going on and such And on a personal level, my FemShep would love to just be dorky for a change. Being a savior of the galaxy 24/7 can become tiring.

True, but consider the political ramifications that would occur if they didn't condone what Shepard did. The Batarians would be fully in their right to go after them as well. The Council would not side with Shepard in that regard, they would probably stay mute unless pressed for an answer, but you can bet your backside that they'd make all the disapproving noise and harrumph at his/her choice to nuke a star system. You saw how squicky they were when Shepard and that chew toy Udina suggested sending the fleet in to pull Saren's *ss out of whatever star system he was squatting in. They point blank refused on the grounds that it would start a war.

 It wouldn't be logical for them to just pat Shepard on the head and say 'Oh its alright. Go nuke another system!! We dont mind!' They are first and foremost politicians. They want to save face as much as possible. Their eagerness to bury the Reaper threat is proof of that.

Here's the thing guys, and you know what's coming. See, I can't wait to see Kaidan, but....I cheated on him. don't judge me. I held out a long time. In fact it wasn't until my 2nd play through of ME2 that I cheated. And then it was pretty much close to the end. I just couldn't take it anymore. Not the way it sounds. What I mean is..well, I was all broken up over Kaidan. Then here's this Thane calling me "siha" in that raspy voice; we were about to go into the omega 4 and...i just sought comfort from Thane. Although it was weird cuz later he's draped all over my captain's cabin couch. ...lol. I was like eek..how do I get rid of this guy? lol.

sooo...i'm wondering how that's going to play out. Although, Kaidan's my heart in this story, and i'm keeping him. But let's not forget, he left me standing there on horizon after i came back from the dead to be with him. got cerberus all over me..like selling ur soul to the devil; & i gotta go fight these grisly collectors thru the omega 4! and all i got from him was a parting shot of his gorgeous rear end.

Then i get that email about him being unsure..and drinks with some doctor...the email was so weirdly blase abt. said doctor being one and the same as the lillith...that got abducted! so i thought maybe this doctor chick wasn't the one i saw get abducted because wouldn't he react to that in some way? So..i went looking for her on the citadel...lol. i was just gonna talk. there's nothing wrong w/talking? renegade style. lol..but yeah, i went looking for her. of course, couldn't find either one...kaidan nor lillith. (didn't want to see her get pasted tho. don't wanna see anybody get pasted. i was just gonna put the fear of shepard in her..ha!

Bioware did a really good job in making the character feel...cut off; isolated. There was no sure footing about it all. The game was darker than the first, and that feeling added to it. No alliance, no anderson..no kaidan. not even that ungrateful council. you were on your own in a bad place. thank goodness for joker, tali and garrus. I did, however, come to know and care for many of the new characters.

Anyway, i'm nervous about how it's going to work out. I didn't save right b4 my dalliance..i meant to..but screwed up. and i'm not playing again. as is at this point.

Oh, it's interesting, someone brought up the liara and shepard's corpse thing..i can't believe she did that. wow. yay, that she did, but wow. i never thought about how kaidan would react to that. i think he is going to be ticked off cuz he's gonna find out, one way or another. it's a big deal. too big, i think, for it to be glossed over.

I'd advise multiple playthroughs-one for faithful and one for unfaithful. Just to cover your bases. In regards to cheating in general-I'm going via the can-I-still-romance-him approach. Not the will-he-die/turn-on-me kind of approach.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!! READ AT OWN RISK!

Ok, first off, if the rumour I've heard is true-Thane won't be an issue. At all.  
Secondly, there was a piece of conversation extracted from somewhere (i dont know where they get the info) where Kaidan allegedly says 'I understand why you cheated.'
Thirdly; apparently Kaidan and Shepard have an accidental encounter with someone on the citadel and it...becomes unpleasent. (which has only strengthened my belief that more than boozing went on with those two) so that's definately the doctor. I just want to know if it's Dr Chloe Michelle. Because if it is, I'm going to bloody kill her (hypothetically speaking.)

Are you guys sure the awkward run-in involves the doctor he went out with?Maybe it's just Kaidan and Shepard running into each other. At least I hope so,my shep will be heart broken if He's still seeing the doctor:(
