Well, if you've already made up your mind not to buy ME3, you're convinced that BW has ruined Kaidan, and you know that no one here wants to discuss spoilers, why are you hanging around here? Making veiled pessimistic statements about spoilers only gets other people all worked up, and if you don't want the game, you're just torturing yourself. 

To each their own, but that baffles me.

I want to be a part of the optimistic crowd. REALLY I do wish I can come here and talk about sexy Kaidan pics forever, but I can't, knowing that, in the back of my mind, there are people who love Kaidan just as much as I do who are already disappointed. I gather that this disappointment is largely because of how off-character Kaidan is in ME3 (I haven't read the spoilers). I too value proper character development in Mass Effect, so it honestly freaks me out over the possibility that I won't enjoy my ME3 as much as I thought, since a significant part of my excitement is on my Shep's reunion with Kaidan.

Please enlighten me on what drives you to stay strong amongst all this crap that the spoilers revealed to us, especially from those who have read the spoilers already. Thank you!

Why could i not find the trailer?!

Just scroll down and there should be an age gate. Get past that and there should be two thumbnails underneath the Video section, one of which is the trailer for ME3 that's been out for a while with Ol' Nigel Fishenchips and the other is the trailer you're looking for.

This trailer was awesome, I can't believe I've never seen it!  I already pre-ordered the Collector's Edition, but if I hadn't, I would now .

And you guys are seriously way too depressing in here.  I personally don't think that Sbarge would have gone out of his way to say, in 3 different audio blogs, that the writing in ME3 was the best of the series, and all the reasons why he loved Kaidan's character, and who he was (and accurately described the Kaidan from ME1).  He could have just said "The game will be great!" and leave it at that.

That said, I totally understand people's concerns; in my darker moments I share them.  But this thread really should be more positive-focused - this constant gnashing of teeth is just going to drive people away.

If all else fails, just fill it with pictures of Kaidan.  Like this one!

So, we aren't allowed to discuss our concerns about our favourite character in the thread?  Your response baffles me.  Jaer didn't mention specific spoilers and said no more in referring to them than a lot of other people in the thread have.

I'll also add that Jaer is one of the best Shenko fanfic writers around and absolutely nails Kaidan's character in every one of her fics, something that the bioware writers may not achieve in ME3 and didn't fully achieve in ME2.

Holy awesomeness, Batman!
I am so pleased I went ahead and preordered the N7 edition on Tuesday.  I mean, I was gonna buy the DLC for $10 anyways, so why not go all out.

Kaidan's looking very smexy and scruffy in there.  And his armor is like whoa.  "Why Major Alenko, what large shoulder guards you have..."

I do so beg your pardon, m'lady. I was under the impression that this thread was to discuss Kaidan and I veiled the spoilers out of respect for some of my fellow posters. I did not realize that only discussion of a rainbows and sunshine happy romantic nature was allowed. Silly me for thinking that if my outrage was shared and more voices joined mine that maybe the Powers That Be would listen and something could be changed. Silly me for not realizing that many of you don't care so long as you get your pre-final battle sex.
Don't worry your poor baffled head a bit further about the matter, then. I won't trouble you further.

No, absolutely, share away. People can be as angsty as they want, but it seems like those who are all upset over the spoilers are dragging the thread down with them. In my opinion, I think it's ruining the fun for the people who want to be excited. Both can exist, but for every optimistic post today, there's been two or three that come along to say that no, it can never be happy, because "I've read a spoiler!" 

Jaer was very specific about the fact that they are NOT going to play ME3, and that they were "done". That's why I asked. Because from my perspective, continuing to hang out on boards about a game you've no intention of buying makes as much sense as someone who won't eat bread hanging out in a bakery.

Why is March so far away.  I swear, the days are getting together and having little time babies to keep me further away from the release date.

Europe usually gets games three days after the NA releases... I think? So March 9th.
