On the whole doubting kaidan's character thing. Bioware said they would reward those that stayed faithful to the original LI's so keep that in mind. Plus I think that everyone is worrying over nothing. I don't think BW is going to do anything that is going to tick off a lot of their players. Plus it's their story they can do with it what they want. We as the player are along for the ride. I personally think that Kaidan will have changed some, I mean he obviously has in order to become a specter and a major and it's been two years since he was in Shepard's team. However, I still think he will have alot of the same qualities that we came to know and love about him from the first game.

see, your mistake is in thinking that Kaidan fans are a lot of players.  bioware is not going to do anything to tick off a lot of players, true.  they are going to give them exactly what they want.  kaidan fans are just not necessarily those same players.  I've read the good and the bad.  the bad the fact that it was even concidered, let alone written in several variations - that worries me.  a lot.

but i'm being all gloomy again - I shall let you all harbor the best of hopes while you still can.

I am confused by what you mean by players. How am I making a mistake in thinking that Kaidan fans are players of the game? they have to play the game in order to know the story. What else are Kaidan fans but part of the player community?Plus I have not read any of the spoilers that were leaked because I prefer to play the game from a fresh perspective. I mean I am asking for spoilers but just about the romantic stuff not about the game. So I am staying away from anything that is going to make me think anything differently. Also I trust BW in their judgement. Mass Effect is a great series and I don't think ME3 is going to be any different. I think it will be the best of the trilogy like they promise. I believe they won't do an Anders and will keep the intergrity of these great characters intact.

I have't read all the pages lately, so I was kinda shocked with all the doom and gloom as Daniella stated. Did something happen that I need to be aware of?Never mind, I don't need to know if it's gonna make me think negatively. I know that Shep and Kaidan will wind up together and that is all that matters.

BSN and to some degree Deviant art (though even there, when you venture outside of kaidan fan group, you are far too likely to find hate) are the only places where Kaidan fan presence is relatively strong.  overall?  we are a very minor part of the community,  there are ore haters then there are fans.  and the majority is what Bioware is going to cater too.

then again - if ability to end up together is the ONLY thing you care about?  you have nothing to worry about.

Gee, that sounds ominous. I only spoiled the game a teensy bit when the script leak came out, and only on one scene. Now you're making me worried again after I quelled my fears...
