Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I find that unlikely. These spoilers are from the beta version of the game after all. Aside from some dialogue changes and -- maybe -- tweaking a few missions, I don't see how much can be changed without delaying the game yet again.Lady Niltiak wrote...
I'm not a great writer, but I've thrown out entire drafts before writing something better. The "spoilers" may not even make it in game. (I say this as I read those spoilers...)

That certainly doesn't rain on my parade. I loved the stuff I read in the beta; they don't need to change a thing to make me happy.

Eh, Doesn't really bother me either. I'm just trying to stay optimistic... Therapy says it's good for me.

Fight for the Love Spoiler Discussion
Kaidan and Ashley in ME3 Support Group
The Massive ME3 Spoiler'd Commiserating & Debating Group
Please just go to any of those groups for spoilers, or seek out the original source to properly judge, if you're that curious.
And please don't pass judgment on those of us who have taken the time to go through the original files, and have seen ALL of the information, for having an informed opinion. If the spoilers don't bother you, fine, but anyone who isn't thrilled with what we've seen isn't just trying to bum other Kaidan fans out. If anything, we're commiserating here because it's a place where people are more likely to understand our views.

I feel this is directed at me. That wasn't my point TZ. My point is that people have different opinions and may interpret things differently. So let's say poster A will get extremly worried about Kaidan in ME3 based on pessimistic reports, yet after poster A plays the game himself he may think "wait, I don't find this bad at all". Not saying that someone is too pesimistic, is wrong or anything like that. I'm just saying that people see the same things differently and if someone didn't read the spoilers, it would be the best to just wait for the game instead of getting super-worried based on what other people say.TeenZombie wrote...

It's a bit like MetaCritic. Yes, if many reviewers say there's a problem with a movie then there most likely is one, but until you watch the movie yourself you can't know for sure if it's gonna actually be a problem to you or not.

That's not quite what they said. They said that some of it was "outdated", not that it was entirely discarded.TheDaniellasaur wrote...
They have already said a lot of the stuff in the spoilers isn't in the actual game.

^pretty much this. If I sounded judgmental, it wasn't my intent.
I make a ton of off-color jokes about therapy, because the men in white-coats say I'm delusional.

No, some people have been pretty blunt about saying that they think that the people who are unhappy are just being "bummers"...I know you are well informed, and I wish I had your optimism about how things will turn out.
And I agree with your comparison with Metacritic. I just know that I loved ME1, and was pretty disappointed in how things went in ME2...but I had hope that things would turn around in the last game. I honestly hope that things aren't as they seem, because as I've said, there are just some things I WILL NOT do in order to finish the game.
I *never* would have thought that I wouldn't buy ME3, before seeing these spoilers. But if I'm put in the situation that is making me nervous, I don't see why I would buy a game that I will never finish.

They wont be changing any of the major things now, they finished off romance stuff a few weeks back, now it's in the finishing stage. Thats if we want it by March
After the new screens last night, I always thought Kaidan in ME2 looked worse for wear compared to ME1. Now is that due to them not spending time on the VS upgrading the graphics due to such a short cameo? I'm only asking due to alot of people not recognising Kaidan in the new armour shots etc and he does look a hell of a lot better in my opinion, more like he did in ME1.

I heard they were still changing a couple of weeks back and then i heard the feedback thing a couple of days ago. They still make last minute changes. I know that.
I think the more important thing to remember is that it is my understanding the leaked plot summary was at least six months old when it was leaked, and could be even older.
This isn't really a matter of them making changes now due to the leak, but more a matter of it being reasonable to assume that the missions, dialogue, etc. have been undergoing continuous revisions, changes, tweaks for the last 6+ months. We know they are still doing VO recording - Meer and Hale and Martin Sheen were in-studio recording just last week.
Will they have drastically changed the huge plot points over the last 6 months? Almost certainly not. But they definitely have been working on it all this time.
[EDIT]: And I think he looks amazing in those screenshots

All i meant was say for example a lot of people moan about something in the demo thats coming out in january then theyve already said that theyre willing to do last minute changes.
Thats basically what i mean

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the information that the leaked beta and the files it contained are at least six months old, Graceyn?
That seemed to be the general consensus reached in the big "leaks" thread in the General Discussion forum in the days immediately following the leak (which thread is long since deleted, I'm afraid), I think due to markers and data in the file (and maybe other files in the demo leak).
Sorry I don't have more for you.
[EDIT]: Again! Be right back...
Love this new one by the wonderful CelticWolfWalker:
