Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

Man, I felt it. The feeling of being cut off (at least for me and my Shep) from everything Shep has known and loved. Even the Council and the Alliance. And the Alliance has been my earth born Shep.'s only real stabilizing influence. Like a very large family.
Then of course the machinations of TIM, and the unresolved encounter w/ Kai on Horizon. It all boiled into a deep feeling of being in a "weird place" to say the least.
Actually for me, it felt like being trapped by TIM and Cerberus---and their manipulations.
I felt the loss. Especially the loss of Kaidan. My Shepard soldiered on, so to say, but the heaviness in her heart stayed the whole time.
Good job, BW---I guess....

Ugh, those guys hurt. I always use the Collector Particle Beam on them, otherwise it takes me too long to bring their barriers down and I end up getting smoked.

I remember when I first played ME2. It had just finished ME1....I came to it all late, so both games were out. I went completely fresh into ME2.

Very well said. I don't feel it so much now, but the first time I played straight through both games, I felt exactly this way. Like you said, good job BW in that they really managed to evoke strong emotions...but it wasn't always fun.

Now I'm really curious what you said originally. I personally think the particle beam is a bad idea, because you have to keep firing and you'll be lazored to bits. Much better to have a weapon that does massive damage in one shot then pop in and pop out.sweekeny94 wrote...
I think I have managed to only have to kill a praetorian once without the Collector particle beam. It was my best friend. Or maybe my shot gun. I can't choose. Ugh, now I am thinking of that kids book 'I Love You Purple' where the mom says she loves both kids the same.

To be fair to the US their not the only ones using stupid measurements, the British still use miles, mph, foot, inches and the silliest of all is stone, IN combination with pounds for weight. I suppose it sounds good saying you're only 9 stone.

Guys, how long after ME2 do you think ME3 will be based? I first thought a month after but after I did the dr Kenson mission and she says after you destroy the mass relay it'll take the reapers months or even years for the reapers to get to another mass relay. Just wondering what's everyone's opinion.
I think it's like 6 mo.s, or so. Technically ME3 begins within a few days of the Arrival actions, but then Shepard's Investigation seems to go for a few months. Although, from what I hear, we only get to witness a few weeks of it in the intro. Then of course Reapers come.

LOL..i know, right? I was like wow..the metric system. Okay.
As far as Praetorian, I've found the Cerberus Arc projector to my best friend in that situation. It pounds the Prae. real good, and takes out whatever pesky husks are swarming around at the same time.

I think it was sad that ME3 starts 6-12 months after Arrival. But I don't remember when it was said (and I'm honestly too lazy to look through the 600ish pages of this thread)
@Chignon... I think that pic will be my screensaver.... LIFE = MADE. Two of my favourite characters I NEVER thought I'd see in the same pic.
On that note, did anyone else freak out when in DA2 you fought characters named "Sten"? I'd completely forgotten it was a rank and went all OH NOEZ.

How tall is FemShep do you reckon? Kaidan is just about the same height, or is he taller?

I have no issues with getting hit when using the particale beam. I have no idea what I do to prevent being blown to bits but I do what ever that thing is really well . . . The issue is having to save almost all most all my heavy ammo.
And as to what I originally said . . . I think it was some thing like "now I am thinking of that kid I love purple where the mom both kids love the same." I also remeber removing an extra shot gun from the kids book part as well. I am having a very off day. I could barely type this.
And about the metric system, I also remember them trying to teach us how to use it and I was confused because I thought it was too easy and that I was missing something. I kept confirming I was doing it right over and over.

that's kinda tall actually. I'm 165 meters and that's supposed to be a relatively average height.
As for the difficulties with the metric system... I guess it depends on what you learned. I grew up with centimeters and kilogramms and have to aks google when people start talking in lbs and inches and whatnot. *shrug*

I'm also 5 8 Batts, so you could still have me pipped. Meh, don't wann be tall anyway.
@ZombieGeisha Kaidan's definitely taller, Shep's the same height as Ashley though(and presumably all other females). Apparently Geth destroyers are 11 feet tall, so if someone wants to stand next to it for scale...
EditL Sorry to hear that sweekeny.

Havent played ME in a while so was hard to remember, most of my ex's and current have been/are 6ft. I feel short with them but my manager is like 4ft 11, was funning when she was trying to help me up after I collapsed at work
Kaidan's hair bump adds a few inches though
EDIT: TOP
