Over the internet, we lose all kinds of communication clues on which we normally rely - we cannot see anyone's facial expression, or hear their tone of voice. Without those cues, bare words can take on too much of our own assumptions in place of the writer's actual intent. Just because someone corrects you, or their words rub you a bit the wrong way, don't assume they're being mean or directing something against you personally.
Everyone on this forum is a mature individual who shares a common interest. The occasional miscommunication will happen; it's the nature of places with such wide-ranging contributors. We should all remember what we have in common (Kaidan!) and work through the rough patches that might arise from our differences calmly and civilly.
