I think some people need to take a step back for a moment. Do not be so quick to take offense, or assume any was intended, or assume everyone reads your posts the same way. If you were raised to try to not give offense, you were probably also raised in a spirit of tolerance and understanding. This includes realizing that not everyone articulates their thoughts well in writing, and that not everyone is even posting in their native language.

Over the internet, we lose all kinds of communication clues on which we normally rely - we cannot see anyone's facial expression, or hear their tone of voice. Without those cues, bare words can take on too much of our own assumptions in place of the writer's actual intent. Just because someone corrects you, or their words rub you a bit the wrong way, don't assume they're being mean or directing something against you personally.

Everyone on this forum is a mature individual who shares a common interest. The occasional miscommunication will happen; it's the nature of places with such wide-ranging contributors. We should all remember what we have in common (Kaidan!) and work through the rough patches that might arise from our differences calmly and civilly.

that one is so funny.

oh yeah, my Commander Shepard is definitely taking her Kaidan balls and going home in ME3. Whether said balls likes it, or not. Bwahaha!

I'm gonna be on him like Velcro

As far as Praetorian, I've found the Cerberus Arc projector to my best friend in that situation. It pounds the Prae. real good, and takes out whatever pesky husks are swarming around at the same time.

Love the Arc Projector.  Hate the Praetorians.  I also find Scions to be gross and creepy.  Even though they're a thousand times easier to kill, it's hard for me to look at them long enough to line up a shot with my Widow.

I just landed on the Collector Base in my most recent ME2 playthough, and went all mushy inside when Shep stares at Kaidan's photo.  I seriously can't wait to have him back.

That was one of the things I missed in ME2, the squadmate that I just had to take on every single mission. In ME1 Kaidan was in my squad in every single one of my playthroughs, in ME2 I just tended to mix and match depending on my mood, although I pretty much stick to Miranda and Thane for the SM so we can warp everything that moves, lol. I never felt that close to any of the squaddies that I wanted to have them with me all the time.

I've always used the particle beam thingie on the praetorians. It does help alot, but for some reason I still freak out when I see I have to fight it    I've not tried the arc projector ever...I dont think?

Silver said they were 4'11'...that's how tall my mom was, I felt like I towered over her at 5'6''....now my son makes me feel like a shrimp cuz he is 6'

Edit: Also the human reaper gave me nightmares the first time I had to fight him.

I always thought I was a reasonable height until my sons grew and grew. My youngest son is 6'1", and the one who passed away was 6'3".

I have to admit that I laughed the first time I saw the human reaper, and I found the praetorion and scions much more of a challenge. I hope Kaidan realises what we had to fight in ME2, and we get the chance to let him know how much his skills were missed, lol.

I did miss his skills! I took him with me on every mission. And I will again in ME3 <3

This thread is in danger of falling off the front page...we can't have that now, can we?

Here, have a Kaidan, thus raising this post from mere bumpage to substantive content:

yup. in me1 kaidan and wrex were my a-team. so, i was sos in me2. in me2 grunt and jack were my main ones.

i do hope he knows how much we went thru in me2. it would be a shame if he didn't. i mean, there was a good chance we were going to die in the sm.

he has no idea, does he? even in the email...he wrote like we didn't remember the night b4 ilos. or that it didn't mean anything to Shep. i was like, dude, you were the first one i asked about. no one would tell me anything. i couldn't find you.

gah, it's like the song of solomon. where "She" goes thru the streets looking for her love saying whre is he? i cannot find him..........

lol i just check Sbarge audioblog and he said it himselfe that Kaidan is not the person to stab u in the back and that the things he said about his character

"You know, what I love about Kaidan is the sense of honor that he has, and the sense of kind of commitment to doing the right thing. Obviously a military man, but a military man who’s deeply feeling and has a heart – sometimes hidden, sometimes not hidden, sometimes on his sleeve. He clearly has a real passion for what he does. He’s a military man who doesn’t have an ego, in the sense of wanting to do it for himself, but much more about wanting to do the right thing."

its good to know that Kaidan is still Kaidan in ME3 because for a while I was worried he was replaced by evil Kaiden ;)

For me it was only Kaidan +  any1 but on my insanity playthrough i appreciated Liara in ME1 biotic is op in ME2 not so much since u have  to take off the shields and barriers first (wrap is the only useful) but in ME 1 with Kaidan and Liara no1 could stop us even charging Krogan ;)

I can't play without biotics or warp so I always play as an adept or sentinel, lol. One of my favourite extras is shockwave - husk bowling is so much fun, lol.

I. Love. Reave. I always take it as my bonus power, no matter what class I am.

I always choose Barrier as my bonus ability, but I am always intrigued by Reave.  Perhaps I shall try it one day.  For now, I give you one last non-bump:

I think we're the only thread to outright avoid spoilers (if I'm hearing things correctly)

Right now, I'm just playing ME2 (I can't sleep) and impatiently waiting for Bioware to release the Femshep trailer. :P

I go for Neural Shock.
Spamming it on Krogan trying to charge me is too fun, then melee them to death.

About measurement units (and squadmates): I think the worst situation is when size is given without markings at all. Ingame example: remember picture of "Wanted: Subject Zero" which appears during car chase on Illium? Jack, who is the shortest squadmate, stands near the scale and top of her head is at 6' level. If it's really feet (and not some futuresque metric system used by all races), my speculation about height of squadmates goes straight out of window.

I always pick reave no matter what. My fav was adept before I tried sentinel but now I don't think I could not play as a sentinel :')

I feel like I've been so quiet these past couple of days on this thread. Damn the awesomeness of mass effect 2 :D
