I choose barrier too. It makes me do things I would not do otherwise.

I know I am way behind here.... and I am trying to catch up, truly... but I have to ask....
What does it make you do that you wouldn't do otherwise.... say ''Throwing up a barrier''?? *probably has spent too much time with Jacob* :P:D

On the off topic of names, did any of you mothers in the thread use "name meanings" as a guide for what to name your kids? I remember when my older sister was pregnant with her first, we had at least six different books on baby names and meanings. Of course I, as a ten year old, chose the funniest ones from the book. But my sister was trying extra carefully to find a name that meant something. I think the name she decided on meant "very outgoing" or something.
Speaking of which, have any of you looked up your name meanings for fun? I mean, I wouldn't stake my life on what my name supposedly "means", but it's just something silly to do in your spare time.

My mum and dad had an agreement, that he chooses girl names and she the ones for bays. THANK THE MAKER FOR THAT. My mum was dead set on naming her second son "Nikolaus". Now that might not sound strange to you, but there is actually a "Nikolaus Day" Nikolaus is something like a little Santa Claus in germany, who comes on 6th of december to bring (small) presents to good kids and punish the bad one (of course that never happens = P).

I probably would have been ridiculed and teased into suicide. *shudders* Kids are cruel as it is, don't give gasoline to the flames.

As for my actual Name I have two. Both are the names of all my grandmothers and greagrandmothers and greatgreatgrandmothers. There names were either "Anna" or "Katharina". So I'm Anna Katharina. Very creative. oh well.

Meanings... well Anna was the mother of Maria, mother of Jesus. Katharina can mean "Torture." Heheheheheh:devil:

Stand alone Tina has no meaning  :(

My first two kids I didnt care about meanings, I just really liked the names. But my third I did the combo of liking her name and the meaning :wizard:

So I thought about Kaidans middle name. I think it should be Ryan.

My name: Well, my paternal great grandmother had recently died, my mom was looking at the obituary on the fridge and thought, "wow, that's a pretty name that you don't see everywhere...."

So I got the name Sarah. I do love my name and think it's pretty, but unfortunately every third mother of a daughter in the 80's thought it was a great name too.

I don't have any kids, but when I brought our cat home, I suggested to the husband that we could name her "Aeris" after FFVII. It was a clever move on my part, because at that point, he hated cats, and I really wanted him to like this one. My plan worked out even better than I imagined, because the cat has been utterly *his* since day 1.

My first name means "pure". my middle name means "follower of Christ." I was never Christian, but my Mom thought Kaitlin Christine sounded cute. I pretend my middle name is after that homicidal car in the Stephen King novel. Definitely giving any future child of mine a name that means something to me...

Edit: I guess I could mention my cat's name is Conner... We call him Con-man. The cat "conned" me into getting him, and cons everyone else into chicken meat or whipped cream.... (Yes he's a spoiled kitty.)

My dog just has to stare at me and I'm at her will, she's so darn cute. She's called Boo. Such a little git sometimes though.

Can't believes it's Dec next week, March will come quickly I hope, I booked the week/weekend off just for ME3.

Off-topic: Any americans, can you please tell me if there is a difference with men's and women's show sizes? When I translate my size into men's it comes up with 7 and then with womans it says 9 I'm so confused. I just want a pair of vans, they are unisex.

My name, Olivia along with it's male counter part Oliver, means 'olive tree' which as most know an olive branch stands for peace. I have also seen that it means things like 'fruitfulness', 'beauty', and 'dignity'. But sadly it is disgustingly popular now. And my mother named me that because she thought it was pretty and thought it was not a trendy name at that time. I like it none the less though. I think it suits me. My mother considers me an original Olivia, especially because now a lot of people spell it with an 'A' instead of an 'O'.

@ZombieGeisha ... It is something like a differance of two I think. If your an eight in women's then your something like a six in men's. Here's a guide that may help. http://shoes.about.c...measurefeet.htm

My name, Danielle is french and it means 'God is my judge' which is funny because i'm not the slightest bit religious at all and never have been. The 'elle' apparently means like she.

Men's shoes go on a different sizing scale than womens... Basically it means you get the shoes in either a size 9 womans or a size 7 mens. they are (Physically) the same size.

I hate it when people spell it Madeline, it's MADELEINE! :P But when I say "Maddie" people think of Madison or even think I'm saying Mattie.

I had a kitten in college named Maddie.  She was the cutest kitty ever. :D

HAH, same thing happened with my sister. She was born in '86, when that Boston song "Amanda" was a big hit. So she got the name Amanda... and so did every other girl born in '86. XD

Catching up...

Clara: I like the shading. I will try to catch up with the group this evening after work.

My first name is "Debra" which means "bee" - sigh. I don't like them, though at least I'm not allergic to their stings yet. Too many Debbie/Debby/Deborahs while I grew up, though only I had the short version of the proper name. It was always bad news when Mom broke out the middle name... which always occurred after calling me my sister's name first. She never could start with the right one.

I did name my older cat in an attempt to get my husband to like him. Hubby was into the Song of Roland at the time. It kinda worked.

My candidate for Kaidan's middle name is currently Pavel. It changes though.

About inspiring names: I'm Kseniya, which is from latin "xenos", what means "alien" (thank goodness, alien as adjective, not noun). Well, at least it's relatively rare :)

Excellent - here's hoping he will be allowed to answer, and that the answer is a good one! :)

I'm also hoping they have saved some of the earlier questions and might answer some of those. Can't wait for another audioblog - he's really spoiling us <3.

Everyone with Twitter, go tweet Kaidan Alenko to Casey Hudson please!

If we had been under such tough constraints on #[/s]ME3 that we supported only one love interest character, who would you choose?
