I *need* Kaidan to be in the trailer.  We're supposed to be getting a FemShep trailer, right?  Wouldn't you expect to see Kaidan in that one?  Since he's going to be glued to her hip for every mission anyways.  At least in my universe.  I just want to see him in action (by which I mean, watch his butt when he walks).

Me too!! I want Kaidan in the next trailer and it be glued to my shep as well, it just wouldn't be Mass Effect if I couldn't. 

It'd be nice to give femshep the spotlight instead of manshep. I always found it annoying that he got the front row at all times and she was always misplaced somewhere. I always imagined her in the back raiding the cookie jar with Kaidan while manshep went boom on the enemies backsides. 

Speaking of backsides-squeezy squeezy Kaidan!

Steam has KOTOR for $10, I don't know why it's so hard to find?

A lot of stores/companies/whatever seem to hold this view in general.  I've never understood why.

Ugh, I've never understood that. Like how Gamestop won't carry games for any system made before XBOX/PS2/Gamecube. Some of us still want those games!

Of course, there are some companies that cling to their past games and won't let go. That's why instead of making new Final Fantasy games, Square-Enix keeps remaking older ones on new consoles, (seriously, I have four different versions of Final Fantasy IV) along with spinoffs of their more popular titles. (The FInal Fantasy VII compilation is up to, what, five or six additions now?)

I'm sure it's just hardcopies of KOTOR that are hard to find, since they're not produced anymore, so people sell them used for insane prices.

I'm a PC gamer, so I don't shop at gamestop.  The only time I buy anything there is if they have a pre-order deal I can't pass up.  Which is why I've pre-ordered ME3 there.  Otherwise, I don't want to give them my buisness when they barely carry any PC games, and those nothing that anyone would want to play.

Kaidan's special talent? In my (rather twisted) headcanon it's telling fairytales to children. Yes, in the same headcanon Kaidan has epic number of cousins, many of whom already have children, so "uncle Kaidan" tells stories/tales from time to time.

re Kaidan's hobbies - I still maintain that he is secretly a gamer, playing games that involve puzzles and things you have to think about not shoot em ups. But they have to be rpgs where the hero rescues the damsel in distress, and gets the girl, lol. What else could he have been doing at that terminal 24/7 in ME1? lmao

Wait, that would be kinda creepy and cannibalistic. Let's just say baking. It's plainly hot where he is...

I do think he might be a great cook; perhaps he lets his creativity and risk-taking have free rein there because he can't/won't anywhere else. Cooking is both an art and a science, seems like something he'd have learned from necessity but then mastered for the enjoyment of it. And I picture him doing it the old school way, with his hands, whenever possible.

Since it's been less than thrilling in here today, I bring you the Wild Speculation of the Day - just because I feel like making things up about Kaidan.

So you know how your choices in past games affect how your relationship plays out? I think you should be able to get back together with Kaidan whether you've "cheated" or not - or if you just want to start up a new relationship after your favorite frogman dies of the black lung. But we know/strongly suspect there are consequences for those Shepards who may have strayed. (I've successfully dodged the vast majority of the spoilers - phew! - so if you know I'm wrong, sorry if this is lame and boring)

I suggest that Kaidan should do whatever Shepard did. So if Shepard "cheated", then so did Kaidan. I think it would be great fun to run into the doctor on the Citadel - who in my mind is French, like Dr. Michel - and have her bust out one of these: *coughs, and does her best Isolde impression* "Who ees dis woman, Kai-DAN?"
And awkward conversation ensues.

On the flip side, if Shepard stayed loyal, then Kaidan does too. That way, everyone's on the same page. None of this "but I waited for you for so long, only to find you've stomped on my heart" nonsense by either party. And then you can ride off into the sunset on your unicorn after Kaidan tells you he's been aching for you for three years.

Regarding holidays, I have a British friend currently living here in the US. Everyone asks her what she celebrates. Conversation goes down something like this:

"Do you celebrate July 4 in England?"

"Nope, July 4 is just a regular day in the UK. But it's your Independence day. You know, from us?"
