Hah, exactly!

And now that we've gotten rid of our Cable TV plan ($32.99 + $19 for cable box rental a month? I don't think so scooter!), I watch all my TV shows online, so our usage has increased. I told my husband to upgrade our plan (it's in his name so I can't do it) from 100gigs/month to 150gigs/month in October because I knew he was getting a digital copy of Skyrim, but he still hasn't done so, and I know he's going to rage when we get overage charges on our next bill. *facepalm*

I got the email late last night telling me about the beta thing. I know less than nothing about online MMO, so I have no interest, but letting my son play all weekend for free sounds like a good thing to me. I still have pictures of him as a toddler with his toy lightsaber that make my mother heart melt. 

@Chylise, Yeah, overage charges blow. When we looked at ours we realized we could afford a really snazzy plan for less than they were charging us to keep the lower tier plan.

I got a beta key, but didn't sign up since I'll be working this weekend. Yay, retail!

I would gladly play the SWTOR beta, but it's like a 40+ gig download, and up here in Canada (the area where I live anyway) we don't have "unlimited data" plans for cable internet, so I can't justify almost half of my monthly gigs for a weekend. *sigh*

Bekkael, MMOs are ok.  In general, once you get used to the ovewhelming interfaces and choices, they're not bad.  The bigest upside is that it's an ever-changing video game (no need for mods lol). The biggest downside are other players.  Being that it's a beta, people may be on their best behavior, so you won't experience the hell that can be other people.  Hence the offer to group up - we all have at least one thing in common.

On the 24th I'm going on xboxlive and totally going all over Halo Reach multiplayer, Gear of war Multiplayer, and CoD Modern Warfare 3 and saying "Ooooh, Mr. Alenko" as many times as possible. :ph34r:

... or maybe just some Left4Dead? ..I feel like playing something with all of the Kaidanites

I'd be a fool but I'd be having a hella fun time :whistle: and damn ): it would be awesome if you could have joined, y u have no 360? 


And it depends on how I'm playing, If I'm winning I'll say it randomly for fun... if I'm about to lose I'll say it with more sultry so the guys might stop thinking for a second  
Nothing like saying "Oooooo, Mr. Allllenkooo!<3" to stop them in their tracks.  


... And when the battle starts I shall yell "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE, GO GO GO!!!" 

And I'd record reactions and such, but I don't think I can xD (I have nothing to do it with)

Edit: But mostly the line will be delivered randomly throughtout playing, when they least expect it 
Will anyone join me in my cherade or do I torture other people by myself?  xD haha

I will be on the SW:TOR beta sporadically this weekend (family commitments, an art project, shopping, etc.). I have two characters on Drexl server left over from the last beta that will still be there: Imperial Agent (Sniper) Hanako and Jedi Knight (Guardian) Lyriel. They're only level 10, fresh off their origin worlds, but I'd be happy to chat/play with any fellow Kaidanites that might show up.

Re battlecries: I cannot help loving hearing the ones from KOTOR; I chuckle every time a faux Juhani yells "I am your doom!"

Is that a Kaidan shout or a Carth shout? I hear it in my head but they sound the same so it could be either! 


Okay, if anyone's a KOTOR fan, do NOT read the Revan novel. It will consume your soul and fill the void with bitter disappointment. (I mean, it's not even about Revan FFS) <_<
