slightly of topic - I don't know if you guys know, but Steam is having a fall sale and KOTOR is one of the games they have on sale, so if you wanted to hear some more Sbarge goodness (amusingly enough, in some of Carth's dialogue he slips into calmer lower timbre of Kaidan - which turns to hilarious when its all in the same conversation and one sentence his speaking lo, and the next one is suddenly back to Carth's higher timbre )  although if you want to wait and see if it drops in price even more?  it could potentialy since they have overall sale and separate daily sales

aaanyways, so yes - Steam sale. and ME1 and 2 is 5 bucks each.

Damn you Steaaaaaaaaaaaam! That's the second time they've had KotOR for sale since I bought it!

NWN2 is 50% off as well... anyone know if they're still doing their Christmas sales in addition to this sale? The husband says Steam's Christmas sale is the second biggest one they have after their Summer Sale.

I just bought KotOR a few weeks ago, and now it's on sale. Steam, you be trollin' <_< Although it doesn't really matter, I only paid $10 and can't even play it really due to pesky Win7 compatibility issues.

Win7 compatibility issues? weird... I have win7, home edition and KOTOR is playing fine for me.. well once I cracked and patched it to accept my native screen resolution (all above board, btw - they even let people post information on Steam forums)

I would try to scan it via properties, see if it installed correctly and then if its still not working, try to see if anyone else had the same problem, usually they have fixes for like everything.

Chylise - I'm trying to decide if I want to buy Morrowind or not and I know exactly how you feel - I bought KOTOR for regular prices and several weeks later - it went on sale. though its not as bad as how I felt about Portal 2 - which is 10 dollars right now O_O

Re Carth's voice: He has a larger range than Kaidan's; his pitch goes up and down, especially when he's riled up - which he gets a lot more often than Kaidan. When he drops into the lower registers, it's because he's being vehement about something. Carth's emotions all show on the surface, whereas Kaidan's are more controlled. This is one of the ways Sbarge established them vocally as distinctly different characters, at least for me.

Re audioblog: Always best to listen for yourself, but he did promise us a Thanksgiving treat tomorrow!

Yeah, it's a common problem, and I have a "sort of" fix. Disable movies, mouse, and play in a window. Which really sucks, since I'm awful at keyboard controls, and I miss all the pre-rendered cutscenes (aka the most important story ones). Also, my character randomly freezes after combat, usually I have to save and load to move again. I've scanned it, twice, but nothing ever comes up as problematic. It's really annoying

lol speaking of dreams I had my first ME3 related dream on Tuesday after sleeping in till 12 noon after a long day!

Though it was about James Vega and he was sad about something family related, and my Shepard not romancing Kaidan was comforting him. Then she told him about how her best friend/ almost lover Kaidan died on Virmire and she felt like she could of saved him and blamed herself but Vega told her it wasn't her fault and then they shared a really sweet moment. Then they began to make out... and that is the end of my first ME3 dream!

lol, next time Kaidan better be the star though!

EDIT: Yeahh I have Vega on the brain at the moment!

That is hardcore!   I have a hard time playing the game without any sound, I can' hear all the hunters, smoker, ect.

Oh, and in case people haven't been keeping up with the Craft Sbarge A Gift group, there is now a deadline, Jan. 10, and remember all contributions must be 150 or more DPI and must fit square size of 4" by 4" inches. Yay, I can't wait to finish it and surprise Sbarge :3
