Throw works pretty well against the husks, but it's not nearly as much fun as shockwave, lol. I don't mind slam either, it's quite satisfying to use against those damn pyros.

I really hope Kaidan doesn't get pull, but I kind of have a feeling he will.  The only use I've ever found for it was pulling away the pyro dudes when they get to close, lol.

Yeah, I didn't want to like Miranda at first, but I really do like her now. Still, she's no Kaidan. I need to be able to reprise my Vanguard, Kaidan, and Garrus dream team from ME1 in ME3. Though, I do miss Wrex a lot. I'll have to toss him in for good measure, if we can actually get him on our squad.

I gotta funny feeling Kaidan's not a biotic anymore. idk...but, we get a pic of him in tank armor. sporting an assault rifle. And that's cool...the gun is, the armor choice is fishy.

We never see him. Much less see him---a-glow w/biotic juju. Nothing to indicate biotic-y-ness?

I just feel like something is up here. I've mentioned this b4 abt the me1 sidequest w/ the L2 lady that was so grief striken over her lovers death, the implants started going beserk--and then so did she. It was like the grief sparked the L2's, which then sparked her brain and she went from normal grief to sumthing like paranoid schizophrenic.

I wonder. Perhaps a way was found to get the implants out at least relatively safely. Or he no choice. It was that, or go mad.

I really don't know, I'm just being suspicious. I see this tank armor of his; find out he's rocking the guns and reave (like my soldier); I never see him a glow--altho, we hardly ever see him, but still...); then I remember that me1 sidequest & that tweet from mac abt. just imagine wat the VS went thru/was going to make them so distant on Horizon.

It was like it wasn't just the Shep is w/Cerberus thing. it was like there was something more going on.

Imagine--if Kaidan did go through all that, then here comes Shep, and it Seems like Shep never really died and just ditched the VS. I can just see his Horizon face all scrunched up while he said, "why didn't you let me know you were alive..". I could really understand and feel that Horizon reaction alot more if he had just come out on the other side of that road. (and i'm not getting into sum blame game. i'm just saying...).

Then the ltr..."alot has happened the past 2 years. i can't just put that aside."; "i dunno who either one of us is anymore.."

Okay, all done w/ the tl;dr...lol and alot of spec (besides, wouldn't something like that pop up in the leak? haven't heard abt nething like that...and don't want to. just spec.). but something ain't right

Whoa, that's pretty intense. 

I wouldn't panic too much.  Especially b/c of the mac walters tweet.  I mean, he did say VS, so something must have happened to Ash too (although hopefully not the same thing, because that would just be the worst writing ever).  She's a soldier, so what would they do? Take away her arm?  She didn't look maimed by any horrible explosions when I saw her in the demo.

Plus, I think Kaidan's back story with BAaT is too integral to who he is.

But something *is* fishy.  And I guess we'll find all that out in March.  I'm sure there's a really good story about what Kaidan has done to be promoted and made a Spectre.  I'll bet that's where this is going instead of horrible X-Men: The Last Stand "I gave up my powers for you" territory.

Besides, I need him to remain the perfect compliment to my soldier shep.

Told ya guys she is amazing. All of her videos are worth watching, Kaidan or not. She has told me about two upcoming projects she has in the works about Kaidan. Well, that is unless the US changes the copyright laws and she can't legally make videos anymore...<_<

Oh, I'm not panicking over it. I'm speculating.

As far as Ash...I was wondering that meself. But I don't spec on her too much. So. But it doesn't necessarily have to be combat skill related. With Kaidan, in my scenario, it was about what he went thru. Not just that he's not biotic anymore.

And the Baat backstory would still be a part of his history. Maybe even more so, because how does a guy that has been a biotic all his life deal with suddenly not being one. Is it what defined him? As a soldier? As a person? How he was viewed by the outside world? Does he have to figure out who he is now after such an integral part of his self-identity is gone?

Would he be worried abt. what Shepard would think of him now? Would he be afraid that maybe Shep wouldn't see him as her/his "perfect compliment" anymore? (Altho, we all know better;))

And more than the VS tweet....the thing that really made my eye twitch was that sidequest I did. I did a me1 replay...and you know..it was after me2 and all that. so whole thing took on a different meaning.

The first time I played that sidequest, i thought, wow, those implants are tricky stuff. After me2, etc. That same mission where the lady's implants went haywire because of her grief (idk how that works, but okay). And she turned nutso.

I'm not saying Kaidan woulda turned all the way nutso, but there does seem to be a clear connection between certain levels of grief and the L2 implants malfunctioning.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Kaidan gets reave then Kaidan is still a biotic, right? Reave is a biotic power as far as I know and I thought Shepard was the only one "special" enough to get to get biotic powers as a nonbiotic?

Ugh, that's awful. This is one of the many reasons I hate anti-pirate measures. In an effort to stop people from stealing from them, they end up screwing over their honest customers that actually pay for things more than the pirates!

Wish I could help, but I have ME on the 360.

You aren't wrong. Reave is a biotic power. Samara has Reave in ME2 once you've completed her loyalty mission.

Good question. Don't know how class specific reave is. Maybe Shep is that special.

But if he's still biotic, why does he have tank armor on? Even as a Spectre I would think he'd still wear appropriate biotic class armor.

My real point, tho, is not so much caring whether he's still biotic or not. Cuz he's still my Boo. Rather I'm trying to imagine wat Kaidan might have been thru , (or VS) the past couple years.

When mac compares it with what liara did and we finally found out abt. in lotsb, you know it's gotta be a big deal. wat liara did was.....sheesh. And mac explains it as maybe a reason why he acted the way he did on Horizon. Which tells me maybe it wasn't just Shep w/ Cerberus.

So...question remains...wat could it be?

yeah, yeah..i saw that. the 115 lbs. thing. but you can still beff him up without tank armor. I'd actually prefer to see this beefiness w/out the armor.

Altho, I'm getting the dismissal vibe for my fun time speculation thought experiment. Really I just wanted to hear some other ideas...but okay...

I think the whole 'what happened to Kaidan to make him the way he is' is a great topic for speculation, though I don't have any theories of my own to add. I was just confused about the biotic bit.
