Major Kaidan Alenko in ME3: We're going to need a bigger boot.

I doubt Kaidan would lose his biotics, personally and as for beefing up? Adept Shepard. Tela Vasir. it really was as bad as trying to make Ashley and Kaidan more "conventionally sexy"

@ Rapscallioness - that girl was already sick. she just refused to take her medication. think of it as schizophrenic patient who decided that they were cured, and stopped taking their meds when in reality, those meds being in their bloodstream was the only reason they were feeling well.

oh, she was? damn. she shouldn't had L2's at all then considering one of the known side affects is insanity. pile that on top of already unstable chemical balance and boom.
I doubt Kaidan would lose his biotics, too. I think it would be interesting, but then I'm not too concerned about whether he's biotic , or not. Even if he isn't, i'm sure he'd still make a kick ass combatant.
The whole biotic bit...I feel like why not? Nothing is written in stone. Heck, maybe he got beefed up because he lost his implants and his metabolism dropped...huh? lol...it could happen.
But, uh, yeah, conventionally sexy....I wish they'd let me be the judge of that already. I can't see any of the choice bits thru that damn armor

As much as my faith in bioware where Kaidan is concerned is at an all time low, I don't think they would take away his biotics. I just hope they haven't gimped his powers too much. As a sentinel he should at least have warp and overload but I have no idea what else they will give him.

I don't care what armour they put Kaidan in as long as the view is still nice when he walks away, lol.

I'm thinking if they're trying to make him more "manly man man", he's prolly kicking butt w/ wateva powers he ends up having.

I don't mind the slightly bulkier new armor look. Kaidan's armor was sexy in ME2. Shep also got bulkier looking armor, and really, the Light/Medium/Heavy armor restrictions are kind of bothersome to me anyway. There was no reason a biotic couldn't equip at least Medium in ME1 (Vanguards), so it seems more sensible to me to have Kaidan in more "manly" armor. Though, I prefer the Spectre armor that I've seen him in to what I like to call the pegasus armor (the grey-ish camo one, because the symbol on the front kind of looks like a rearing pegasus to me).
As far as the Kaidan carries an assault rifle bit, well, I kind of hope he does. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't all soldiers now get training in a basic assault rifle anyway? I've never heard of a soldier that only equips a pistol. Even though I do not like them, I think all the military types in ME universe should equip a basic assault rifle (the SMG from ME2 is fine for this). Shotguns aren't a terribly practical war weapon, but I still love it.
As far as speculating on what gets the VS their Spectre recognition, I'm not. I really hope it is awesome, though. And, if I don't speculate on it, I will not be disappointed come ME3. Mac also tweeted intriguing vaguenesses about Vega & Shepard that I am really looking forward to discovering.

And it never made any sense in ME1 that Kaidan was only proficient in pistols but carried 4 weapons anyway, lol. But then I guess the same can be said for evey squaddie including Shepard.

Alright, I'm in for some wild speculation. Here's what I've got:
All the time we didn't see Kaidan he was on some kind of deep cover mission. Probably embedded with a merc group to uncover their operations a break up a smuggling ring. He had to do a lot of things he didn't like to keep his cover and bring down the whole thing, but that means killing people he didn't want to, maybe doing some red sand, and probably a little slave trading as well. Of course, all at the Alliance's request, and ultimately for a good cause, but it's stuff he never thought he would do. And now he's having an existential crisis about it. During his operation, he meets a Spectre who recommends him to the council because she was impressed with Kaidan. You know, for his work. Shepard will not punch this chic later. At all.

Well obviously, Kaidan "beefed up" because without Shepard he had nothing to do and being bored and lonely started hitting the gym for distraction. Working out produces endorphins, which make people happy. And happy people don't kill themselves. They just don't.

...yeah... she wouldn't at all... at least not where there's any evidence of doing so.
And I don't know, Kaidan seems like the type to do what's right, no matter who tells him otherwise(lol, he even turned down Shepard for the greater good, he's brave, that's for sure)
I'd imagine him of more: infiltrate mercs, gain their trust, see them pick on an innocent... observers around said building see people sized objects flying to outerspace, spectre saw radical display of biotics, recommends him for evaluation, now spectre. /my fantasy of how he made a living witthout Shep
ok... I might be a little delusional...

B-Ware.
I am 5'7 and 103lbs with spaghetti arms.
K-Man ain't no 115 skinny boy.
And Fire, I wouldn't count them as anything big or spoilerish in particular. I think people are only wary of story spoilers than anythin here anywa

Ohmigosh. Thanks for sharing that, Chig.
Now I want a Kaidan in Skyrim. All of the marriageable companions are severely lacking in comparison.
Untrue. Farkas and Vilkas are love.
On topic, though, Kaidan would totally be a breton focusing on Restoration and Illusion.

Kind of didn't see Reave coming... So what Kaidan is a vampire biotic now? Why not lift, throw, or warp. I know warp wasn't a sentinel power but Miranda had it. Why not.
And barrier...is hella useful when playing the game on harder difficulties.
