He should be qualified, and it makes more sense than a shotgun or a sniper rifle.  ...although it doesn't change the fact that shooting into a seeker swarm rather than using biotics was rather silly.

yeah, yeah..i saw that. the 115 lbs. thing. but you can still beff him up without tank armor. I'd actually prefer to see this beefiness w/out the armor.

Kind of didn't see Reave coming... So what Kaidan is a vampire biotic now? Why not lift, throw, or warp. I know warp wasn't a sentinel power but Miranda had it. Why not.

And barrier...is hella useful when playing the game on harder difficulties.

I'm psyched for his powers.  He's coming along on every mission no matter what, so now I'm glad I don't have to compensate for him like any time I used Jacob (which was never once I recruited Garrus).

I had always assumed, or at least wanted, Kaidan's powers to include overload, a biotic to strip armour, a crowd control biotic like throw or pull, and one of the other new tech skills. I figured warp would be more likely than reave (just seemed more Kaidan's style than consuming the enemies' health) and I didn't think he'd have barrier, but that one actually makes sense... I had just kind of forgotten about barrier since I never really take Jacob anywhere with me or even Legion with his shield boost. In any case, I'd be happy with that as his set since reave+overload sounds like a whole lot of win in one squaddie to me and my vanguard Shep. As for weapons, AR and heavy pistol sound awesome.

*embarrassed* :blink:Well, I think I might be missing out on part of the game.  I have always played on easy with a solider and took whoever I wanted to keep me company, never worrying about talents/skills.   As a solider I could just blast my way worth through most things.  This allowed me to take Kaidan and Garrus everywhere in ME1. :happy:

BTW: That response letter to Kaidan’s was amazing!!  Well done!

And it never made any sense in ME1 that Kaidan was only proficient in pistols but carried 4 weapons anyway, lol. But then I guess the same can be said for evey squaddie including Shepard.

Funny you should say that, I've tried telling him to use both the AR and Sniper rifle for rp purposes and he was actually killing things. Shepard's the moron who willdly misses by 90 degrees at point blank.

The thing is Anderson is seen talking to a Cerberus agent in videos of LOSB. Why? When? We also know that at some point Kaidan started investigating Cerberus when colonist started being abducted. Also the Council would want Kaidan to see if Shepard really was a traitor. So he would be finding info to basically bring down or support his lover/friend. I can't imagine how hard that would be. Liara was more upset Shep would be angry at her for her actions. So when did Cerberus start the rumors about Shep was working for them? Did the Illusive Man start them before Shep was conscious? Did Kaidan not really back up Shep all those years ago when they said she was dellusional and now he feels guilty he didn't do enough? I don't know exactly how Mac could compare what Liara did to Kaidan. I know Liara went through some major pain and guilt though. So at the point I have no idea and not even the spoilers even point to anything.

To artists: This guys Troodon80 has been uploading the models from ME2. Guns, characters, ships, etc. These are invaluable to artists. And plus...Kaidan!!

I'm so glad theyve improved the graphic for kaidan in me3, he always looked good in me1, but then when i encountered him in 2 he always looked slightly...wrong. When i saw the quote saying how theyd used the same texture in 1 for 2 for kaidan it started making a bit more sense. I've decided it was the textures that looked off, both skin and hair. Although the craazy eyes didnt help, though looking angry and boss eyed still does make me giggle.

Roll on me3 and tastier kaidan... yum yum!

+1, obviously he was still Kaidan but he didn't quite look right, I find it was more his mouth I thought was odd or maybe it was the animations?

But with the new screenies of Kaidan I think he's going to look even better.<3

If Kaidan were in Skyrim, then I just might never stop playing. The closest I can get is a wizard I hired who one-shots everything for me from a distance. I can't even get one hit in with my sword half the time. It reminds me of how Kaidan took care of my Shepard in ME1 before she even knew she was in danger.
