Totally true. You know, on an unrelated note, I found a thread earlier on about the ability to have children. Just putting it out there, if my Shepard is done saving the galaxy, I reckon her ultimate reward should be to have the "simple life". Anyone for little Kaidans? Or little Shepards with Kaidan?

One of my Shepards (chaotic good optimist) who romances Kaidan is definitely going to have a child several years after the victory. Two others... not exactly a mother material (chaotic evil chessmaster lady and rather troubled biotic who just recently get along with idea of love).

What will happen with them after the credits roll? Headcanon: Kaidan joins Grissom academy. Two of named above Shepards go with him. Does this count as "simple life"?

I'm trying to get my bf to get me the Elite hoody for xmas but the postage is so expensive. Going to be £60 and that's if I'm lucky not to get custom charges!

I really want it! *cries*

Yay, it's december. One month closer to March.

I bought one and had it shipped to the UK - there were not any additional customs charges for me.

And also - I will just say for any ladies buying one of these, they run very, very large so I suggest ordering 2 sizes down.

As far as the sizing, is it possible that it runs large because of the difference between US and UK sizes? From what I understand, a UK size 8 is equal to a US size 4, and so on. I'm not trying to pick on you or anything, I was just thinking about getting one, and having feedback on sizing is so helpful.

They only come in S/M/L/XL/XXL (if I remember correctly) - and I am actually American living in the UK so I have had to deal with sizing issues between the two quite a lot. I got a M but I really should have gotten a S - the M is huge on me and I am not a small person. They are simply very large. So for anyone who is petite (or normal even) I think even the small will be pretty huge.

I could see Kaidan being a very understanding and patient father so children afterwards would be a must.  Hopefully, at least one of the children would have biotic powers.

Anyone think Kaidan ever collected anything as a kid, or even currently? Cards, rocks, dried up dead space butterflies on his wall?

This is totally not stemming from me finding my ancient pokemon cards and nerding out over getting into collecting again.

Oh Pokemon cards . . . how I loved thee. Now I just just paint Pokemon on fondant pieces and place them on cupcakes. That's not weird is it? It definitely is.

Anyway, uhhh. Kaidan collecting things, let's see . . . aside from amassing a large following of fan girls I am not quite sure what he would collect if anything. Maybe, ugh no. I was going to say books but that sounds strange now. To me at least.

I can see him building miniature ships or something that takes time and a keen eye. :)

Or maybe just comics cos that'd be awesome.

I think the reason the Elite hoodies run so big is because they are technically for men since mostly men are expected to buy/wear them. They have women's N7 hoodies that are more appropriately sized for females, but not in the Elite. I wear an American size 12 in clothes, and the medium is baggy on me, but not ridiculously so.

Any of you size small gals in women's clothes are going to look swamped in a small, most likely. You might want to skip the Elite and just buy the ladies N7 hoodie. :)

I actualy like idea of books - he does mention reading a lot as a boy, especialy those heroic sci-fi books... and for some reason I now see him as Tom Paris with his fascination with turn of the 20th century sci-fi O_O

In my headcannon my canon shep actually has 3 kids. (one a girl having "Ashley" as her middle name actually), but that might change depending on the ending of me3. this here assumes the galaxy will be intact enough to raise kids. and since femshep will prolly not having probs with getting pregnant at age 40 to 50 it'll be some years after me3 end.

as for collecting I can totally see Kaidan building lego star wars ships... what.

Kaidan collecting books? Kasumi would approve. And, likely, Ashley.

About my version - Kaidan's father served, so family might change location rather often and, if they settled on space stations, space-taking objects are unlikely. Maybe Kaidan collected something that will remind him about places he visited? Photographs. Drawings. Plans of escape pods location :-P

Baby Kaidans  awwwww <3  My shep would definitely have a simple life with Kaidan... scratch that, she'd still travel the stars in the normandy with Kaidan and the crew, but have some adorable children still, my Shepard wouldn't be able to just sit on a colony and live the average life... saving the galaxy and Kaidan are pretty much what she lives for B)

Anyone else read the leaked spoilers and are worried/miffed about how the role of the VS is going to play out if it makes it into the final product?

Slightly worried, but not too much. I've avoided all spoilers apart from the ones posted to this thread and Ashley's thread a little while ago by a jerkish troll. I was somewhat upset initially after that, but now I think of it like this: in the run-up to ME2, for a while one could have interpreted the situation as Shepard dying and being loaded into a geth platform. That's not exactly what ended up happening at all. ;-) At the moment, we have incomplete information and not a lot of context for whatever has been leaked. Also, a lot (though not all) could change before release. Ultimately, I believe Bioware will give us an amazing story with Kaidan. If, on the other hand, they stab Kaidan fans in the back after we've waited all this time and put up with lack of our romance in ME2, I simply won't buy another of their games ever again. I've bought everything they've released for PC since Baldur's Gate, often half a dozen times as gifts for friends, so this really means something coming from me. It might seem a bit over-the-top, but to my mind it'll be evidence that Bioware is no longer a company I can trust to make an enjoyable product, but rather one that finds it acceptable to squander the hard-earned emotional investment of some fans while pandering to others. (Actually, though, sometimes I wonder if we're being pandered to in certain ways? At least our romance is in the squad. That said, with all the possible SM deaths, the VS was always going to be one of the "safe bets" from the point of view of game design.)

That said, I do believe they will come through on every front and ME3 will be an amazing game for all of us, fans of Kaidan and others.

True. I really hope that the conclusion of the romance with him will be one that will do justice to the plot after Horizon. Kaidan withdrawals suck x.x *twitch* lol

I do hope the make some adjustments though as some parts don't seem like something he would do.

I would have to vote for books. He seems like a guy who enjoys a quiet evening. And I like to read myself, so I imagine my sheps as readers. My shep and him reading together in bed....yeah. After making those post-saving-the- galaxy babies, lol.

*puts on best behaving hat and finds an extra large chair for extra cute factor to sit on*

Anyone else follow the spectre and archangel comic on devaintart? She currently drawing her take on the horizon scene and im amazed at how many kaidan negative comments there are, espec those wanting to see him get hit :(. I mean sure i was shocked when i first played through horizon and disappointed (that he couldnt join the squad) but i've never wanted to hit him for it. Maybe i'm just spoiled because i mostly lurk in here :innocent:

I follow that comic and comments are pissing me off. she's one of the rare moved on to Garrus fanatic writers/artists that is actually trying to see Kaidan's side instead of just painting him as irredeemable villain (Sialater with "Loved" is another) and the comments section is completely ruining it for me.

Lady Wynde's Kaidan??? YES PLEASE!

well since we're talking of Lady Wynde?
