For some reason I recall trying to reach a location on the top of steep mountain for 20 minutes.... then reaching the top to find a "path" on the otherside of said mountain..... I was slightly annoyed.

I wish the squaddies would comment on said driving, I sucked at the Mako. If Kaidan drove I would have been able to aim the gun better.

This. So many times. I'd fight my way up a mountain, get to where I needed to be, and then see a bunch of geth turrets on the other side, and realize that THAT was where I was meant to go. Oops.

On my current playthrough damned thresher maws always manage to side-hit Mako before dying. = all wheels are broken. I think once I'll return from mission I'll see turian version of facepalm.ZombieGeisha wrote...
I'm not entirely sure, I just wanted to avoid threshers at all costs. I'm such a wimp. I always assumed their were paths to help you. :'(

About geth turrets: I pretend that Shepard crossing mountain instead of following simplier path is a great tactical step to avoid mines, traps, etc:innocent: Although Kaidan and Wrex would probably prefer to fix Mako in field instead of experience one more falling from cliff in Mako in double salto mode.

How 'bout a Kaidan for those of us stuck at work? Yes Please!!
@ the Mako - I'd rather drive that thing then the Hammerhead. I got smoked in that flying buttercup so many times it was ridiculous. But yes, driving up mountains only to find a "path" on the other side is annoying - done it many a time.

Well obviously, Kaidan "beefed up" because without Shepard he had nothing to do and being bored and lonely started hitting the gym for distraction. Working out produces endorphins, which make people happy. And happy people don't kill themselves. They just don't.
Alright, I'm in for some wild speculation. Here's what I've got:
All the time we didn't see Kaidan he was on some kind of deep cover mission. Probably embedded with a merc group to uncover their operations a break up a smuggling ring. He had to do a lot of things he didn't like to keep his cover and bring down the whole thing, but that means killing people he didn't want to, maybe doing some red sand, and probably a little slave trading as well. Of course, all at the Alliance's request, and ultimately for a good cause, but it's stuff he never thought he would do. And now he's having an existential crisis about it. During his operation, he meets a Spectre who recommends him to the council because she was impressed with Kaidan. You know, for his work. Shepard will not punch this chic later. At all.
Ooooo...I like. I could see this.

Because the art department felt the need to beef him up. I think FireEye posted a quote some pages back.
yeah, yeah..i saw that. the 115 lbs. thing. but you can still beff him up without tank armor. I'd actually prefer to see this beefiness w/out the armor.
Altho, I'm getting the dismissal vibe for my fun time speculation thought experiment. Really I just wanted to hear some other ideas...but okay...
Sooo...I' guess I'll just go stroll around the forum for a bit:whistle:
Uh, I wasn't talking about just you. In general, no one wanted to speculate about Kaidan not having biotics. And that's fine. I ain't all broke up over it, but it was dismissed. In the strictest sense of the term. Not the air quotes perceived insult kind of way.
I presented my idea, and got a resounding--meh. And no counter speculations. So, okay. No one felt like playing. I went to go see what else was going on in the forum because not much was going on here at the time.

The happy ending was one of the few things they got right. I guess indoctrination would be the reason for ooc behavior in ME3 as opposed to Justice in DA2. I just hope they don't indoctrinate the VS.
Pitchforks at Bioware HQ at that point...
lol maybe Hawke could entice Anders to take vengeance for the injustice done to the VS.
lol if you need an Anders for the uprising you can always borrow one of mine...I've got 7 of them...all alive and crazy(some more than others) but still kicking.
I blame my revisionist side for the time-travel Hawke/Anders fic I've had in progress for a while. If Hawke just gets to him before the Justice merger maybe everything else will work out better? That poor Hawke is pretty screwed up in the head though, so it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
I have had a very sick 2 year old in my bed these past few days.
I've been suffering Kaidan withdrawals.
I wonder if they are going to give us the FemShep (Kaidan) trailer for a holiday gift closer to the end of this month? *tries to remain hopeful*

Is it bad when I first encountered one, I just turned the xbox off, I was never so scared, it was the noise. ARGH
I also would just run over the Geth Armatures.

Ah, the Mako, I've lost count of how many times I had to get my son to come and get over a damn mountain for me, lol. My Shepard really wanted an option to say 'you drive' to Kaidan because I sure as hell didn't want to.

So I've decided to go through ME1 and ME2 on my canon playthrough again before ME3 comes out.I've made a few tweaks, but this is how I've got it planned out:
Name: Taryn Shepard
Pre-Service History: SpacerPsychological Profile: Sole Survivor
class: Infiltrator
Bonus Talent: Singularity (ME1), Reave (ME2)
Morality: 75% Paragon, 25% Renegade (roughly)
ME1 LI: Kaidan
ME2 LI: Loyal to Kaidan
ME1 Squad: Kaidan/Garrus
ME2 Squad: Thane/Mordin
I think the majority of my "major" decisions will be Paragon, with smaller Renegade decisions scattered throughout. Not looking forward to that pesky Mako (how the heck do you drive vertically up mountains anyway?!), but I love romancing Kaidan.
Your Shepard stole my name!

But then, I find the idea behind Pokemon borderline offensive anyway. "You, animal! Go fight that other animal! It's OK, I'm not placing bets on whether you win, or not! But tear that other animal up anyway!"
