Ugh, so late to the party...so busy...
Graceyn Shepard: Adept, Colonist, War Hero, Paragon with a heavy splash of Renegade on non-critical decisions. Larger-than-life, fun and a little crazy (in a good way), huge personality. Leads a charmed life, somehow always finding a way to survive, to win. Oh-so-loyal to Kaidan. Star of
If It Meant Living: From the Beginning. Title is taken from a phrase she used to describe herself: "She was never afraid to risk dying if it meant living in the process."
Grace Shepard: Sentinel, Earthborn, War Hero, pure Paragon. Strong, dedicated, confident but never arrogant, kind-hearted and sincere. Growing up on the streets gave her a high personal morality compass and made her care deeply about and understand people. Despite all the writing I'm doing about Graceyn, this is actually my favorite character, in looks, playstyle, and approach (it's just Graceyn is more
interesting). But I'm not crazy about the way Tech Armor looks, and I'm not sure I want to stare at it through ME3 at first, so she may not be my first playthrough. Oh, and loves Kaidan with all of her heart.
Grace Shepard: Soldier, Colonist, Sole Survivor, almost pure Paragon. She's a little broken from being twice the sole survivor. She sees her life as defined by loss, but is determined to make sure no one else loses everyone. Every bad guy she kills is vengeance for what was done to her, and is saving at least one person from the evil they would otherwise have done. Was really wounded by Horizon and doesn't think she'll be able to get Kaidan back (just one more thing she lost). But didn't cheat - just went a little crazier in obsession with the mission.
Graci Shepard: Infiltrator, Spacer, Ruthless, full Renegade plus more than half Paragon. Supremely confident, cocky but not obnoxious. Enjoys people but has little patience for stupidity; has a short temper. Romanced Kaidan, but was seriously pissed about Horizon and not at all impressed with his message. Incredibly intrigued by Thane, had never met anyone like him, so romanced him. My only cheater, my only renegade, because I will eventually want to experience the other consequences in ME3. It was hard to do (though the Thane romance is really touching). But...playing an Infilitrator was really, really fun.
I've actually played Vanguard twice (both Kaidan loyal), really like the class, but haven't managed to make a full separate character/personality as one. [EDIT: Also keep swearing I will make a himShep, because I really do like Ashley as a character and would like to romance her and have her in ME3 once. But time is running short...]
[EDIT #2: ME1 squad is Kaidan/Ashley (unless I'm playing Soldier, then Kaidan/Garrus (and after Virmire)); ME2 squad is a little more varied but usually Garrus/Kasumi, sometimes Garrus/Miranda (Garrus gets Overload, Miranda goes Warp/Slam).]
Oh, and, yeah, not so creative with names... Grace* is my alter-ego for gaming, and that's just that

. I used to do variations on Gabrielle, with I also think is a beautiful name, but then I stumbled into Graceyn in what is a long story and there are already
so many words...To make up for my essay, have a Kaidan:
