edit: I think I would probably lose it if Kaidan ever got so emotional he started crying the manly tears. There's just something about a guy who can cry stoicly. Gets me every time.

I like this plan.   I personally suck at FPS.  It would be awesome if the multiplayer was local co-op, then my husband could help.  After listening/watching the multiplayer for black ops (while my hubby played)...*shudders*... I don't think I could handle it.

Of course now I have to buy xbox live gold, but it'll be worth it to hand out in MP in Mass Effect with people who obsess over appreciate Kaidan as much as I do.  With Kaiden in ME1, the first time i played i thought he was a little bleh, but then when i played it a second time with a romance, i noticed how great him and Shep are together, and now Kaiden is my fav male squadie.

About the Kaidan MP group, feel free to join I won't bite (I'm the group creator, if anyone can sow me how to get the leaders to be able to accept requests that'd be awesome). I just need to make sure I've seen your name before on here or have trustworthy friends or seen you around.

I've been getting a few random requests and never seen them post before or even have any forum history so I don't want to risk anyone getting spam on their consoles/PC's.

I just dont want any random's getting our gamertags/info and what not...

One random question about ME1, happened because this time I didn't go to Therum immediately after Citadel.

When you don't do main quests and just wander around galaxy doing sidequests, if it just me or Kaidan gets something to say far later than the rest? I've found the situation where Ashley, Garrus, Tali and Wrex all want to talk, but Kaidan "wasted enough of your time". And this was femShep playthrough who picked all paragon options while talking to him before, so it can't be that I'm not "gender appropriate" or screwed up relationships.

In fact, Kaidan didn't want to talk until first completed main quest (Noveria)... and, to be honest, if I weren't totally sure from previous playthroughs that this character worth trying to talk with again and again, I'd give up at that moment and left him at console... how much this added to negative impression on other gamers, I wonder.

I actually thought that both Kaidan and Ashley only had something new to say after main missions only (at least in my experience). it possibly did add to the negative impression, and I'm not sure why they have chose to pace them so differently from the rest of the characters (who get something new to say after any mission - side or main)

I always thought Kaidan's dialogue/romance path only happened after the main missions anyway?. I do make sure to talk to him after I've done anything important. I just spread them out so I dont burn it out too quickly.

Yeah i'm doing an Me1 playthrough atm as a renegon and kaidan only ever seems to have something to say after main missions, ashley has had one chat not after main missions and tali, garrus and wrex seem to enjoy talking my ear off. Not tried talking to Liara much this playthrough as i got a little freaky with the romance tags last playthrough. I still wander up and talk to kaidan anyhow, just to hear that voice....

For what I could see of it...it was fantastic...I think digital was a government plot to drive me crazy...everytime the wind blows or it rains I get to see a screen full of pixels and I can't get my local channels on dish here...they don't carry it...does seem like the deaths on these types of shows just get earlier and earlier though. I blame Lost.

They'll probably bring in someone we haven't seen before....a mystery man or something. Hope whoever they get that they have as much chemistry with Emma as the sheriff did. Sad to see him go.

I would not be surprised at all if we get this... Shepard is going to face the biggest threat of her life when she finally squares off against the reapers...I could see him getting highly emotional when he realizes he could lose her all over again.

That is how I remember it, but it has been a long time since I have played ME1.  I think I should play through it again soon. :happy:

I think Kai and Ash only have something to say after the main missions.  I'm replaying ME1 right now as well and have done only Therum and Noveria.  I've been doing side missions before getting to Feros and all I get from both Kai and Ash is "I've wasted enough of your time, Commader. We'll have time for personal debriefings later."/"I'd better get back to my station. These rifles don't maintain themselves".

Edited to say that the first time I played, I kept going up to Kaidan after every single mission (both main and side) just to hear if he had anything more to say, lol. That's how I learned that it's only after main missions when they'll talk.

I've only gotten Codex info from Tali and Garrus, and Wrex just told me about his family armor (which was the last side mission I did last night before going to bed).  I've also been avoiding Liara, lol. I think the only time I approached her was after Noveria just to talk about Benezia.

Lol!  I do the same thing!  Go up and talk to Kaidan just to hear his voice. I do it all the time during missions, too, lol. It's funny if you "talk" to him in the middle of a battle ("Not now, Commander!"). Cracks me up every time 'cause I imagine my Shep just going up to him for a nice chat and there's rockets and mass effect projections flying all around.

From memory: Everyone has one conversation per main mission.  You can boost them forward by doing sidequests, but you have to do a good chunk of sidequests to do it (and doing a main quest will reset it, I think?).

Little details in discussions will also change depending on a lot of factors.  But I know I've exhausted both Kaidan and Ashley well before the end of the game before.

If any of you replaying ME1 are doing renegade and decide to kill everyone on Feros watch for Kaidan's behavor...he had me rolling on the floor. I told him to take out the civilians and he went nuts. Ran off and killed everyone before I could get in a shot...I was like waaaa...blew me away.

I don't know who is strategically placing those chairs, but I'd like to help them  

I'm replaying through ME and ME2 atm. In ME I've found Kaidan only speaks after doing main missions *shrug* I've never told them to kill everyone on feros...how does that turn out? I mean as far as consequences and such?

I can never bring myself to do a renegade playthrough. This last FShep I'm playing, I made with the purpose of going full renegade, but I just can't do it, lol. The closest I get is paragade, where I'm nice to my friends and people I'm helping out but mean to all the bad people.

My brother's mShep is named D-Bag Shepard (name all spelled out) and he's pure renegade. Like, he won't even look at the conversation wheel to see what else you can respond with...he always goes the renegade route. So I pretty much experience the renegade path through him.

Hehe i literally just finished Feros but i went softie route and saved the civs. Had the best council chat ever afterwards;
council: 'commander are you just calling us up so you can hang up on us again?'
shep: 'yep'
joker: 'that never gets old does it?'

First time i've seen that convo and i literally gigglesnorted all over my computer!
