That's great! Kinda unfortunate that they went off during the Christmas season, though. I mean, I don't know about all of you, but money is definitely stretched right now with buying gifts and such. It would've been fun to bid if I had the extra money...

Agree with this! I would have loved to participate, but money's super tight. But if they did another one, say, in March, I would be able to  bid. (Though I'll donate something to Greenwish as soon as the January paycheck hits anyway)

Well... as the token Garrus Fangirl here...   I can tell you that Garrus is squishy on the lower levels.  His beginning armor sucks and his stats are abysmal.  He also forgets he's supposed to snipe and attempt to tank. (Both his and Kaidan's AI seem to have PROTECT SHEPARD as priorities.)  If you take away his assault rifle and give him the best sniper rifle you can find, he'll stop trying to tank and leave the heavy lifting up to Shepard and Kaidan (who, once Barrier is avaible to be at least mid-level, can tank just as well as Shepard).  When Garrus levels higher, Colossus armor or higher is best (Phantom, if you can find it -- it doesn't always spawn, unfortunately).  And if you level up his armor skills and "Turian Agent" skills along with his sniper skills, he'll live longer. 

I noticed that, actually. I usually set my squadies to use their skills defensive. Almost everytime something attacks my Shepard there is either a overload charge on the badie or they go flying across the room. Thems my boys.

I LOVE Shoko's stuff with Vega and Kaidan!    It would be awesome if their relationship was like that in the game.  And loving Shepard's N7 hoodie!

Exactly!  I don't notice it so much with Meghan and Rachel the Vanguards, but with Avery the Adept it was very obvious they were keeping her squishy butt in one piece.

I'm pretty sure they have always said the demo won't be out until next year, they said January. Which is like in 2 weeks, it is December 14th btw.

Yepp they've said the demo will be out in January for as long as i can remember. January isn't that far away really

Yeah, the demo itself should be out in January (hopefully).  But I thought they would be releasing information about early access to the demo some time this week or next.  Sadly, I do not have the Battlefield 3 online pass installed on my gamertag so I'll be using my husband's gamertag for the early access demo.
