Ah, I don't like him being so racist.....

To me, you can be a badass, but when you start making wide claims that have nothing to do with intellectual merit or hypothesis, then you are no better than a homophobe or those bigots from Terra Nova, just sprouting ignorant b.s. That's what I think Bioware's greatest flaw was with ME1, some of the renegade chocies were so obviously 'stupid' I could not take that Shepard seriously.

If you want a perfect example of being a badass, and also not being the biggest fans of aliens, but not being a complete racist dick about it, look at Wrex.  My hero and favorite character in Mass Effect.

he's not racist though - I cannot imagine what would have to happen to make him racist outside of serious brain damage, he's just more decisive, a little bit more in favor of alliance handling things and less cautious about making decisions.

Oh and um.....I feel weird doing this. But I finally finished my little dabble of a Shenko reunion fic, Present Tense, that takes place after ME2. Because I figured I'd better get it done before ME3.....
So if you're interested, I'd like to hear what you think? Good and bad.

Also like it in Choras den when he sees the Asari dancers and talks about the place having "quite the view"
But it's Ash's response that made it funny She tells him to put his tongue back in his mouth before he trips over it. It was the little exchanges between him and Ash like that that makes me think Bioware made a mistake in having us choose between them on Virmire. I miss Ash in my games.

Uhhhmmm, I think my favorite line would be from the bit where Kaidan fumbles, somewhat showing his initial interest in Shepard at the citadel view scene. :X

Favourite lines:
"That's what I lo- appreciate about you." because Shepard can call him on it. Also his response to "I don't think I've had the pleasure of you serving under me." because he clearly didn't realize he was setting himself up for that.

From ME2, the delivery of his "Aye, aye" when Shepard orders him to get himself to the escape pods is fantastic. He makes it very clear that he's only doing this because it's a direct order and he would much rather be sticking by Shepard's side. Which made later events that much more heartbreaking.

Edited for ToP: Kaidan and Joker had a little too much at the Christmas party before someone shoved them under the mistletoe? Because the idea of a very drunk Kaidan is really funny to me.
