While I prefer scifi or present world analogy settings myself it's all fantasy really, especially when it comes to combat, it's almost all some form of hitpoints with very few serious consequences and whether you call the laws of physics defying character abilities magic, the force or biotics really doesn't matter all that much aside from personal preference.
That said I do tend to enjoy settings with robots, starships, guns and psionics more than I enjoy settings with magic, elves, swords and castles but ultimately if the story and characters are good enough to draw me in I can stomach most settings.

yupp, it's another daily sketch, I was trying to depict Vazill Korturus - a character from the Mass Effect Chronicles for those not in the know *le gasp* - in the style of Mike Mignola
(though I mainly just used alot of shadows XD )

as for this google+ thing, if that really allows easy connection to blogger, I'll probably give it a try

 So does everyone like Kaidan's makeover in ME3? I didn't recognize him at first,  took me a while (I fail) I though he was the new character... This picture, it just doesn't look anything like Kaidan in ME1 or ME2 for that matter.. Maybe its just the picture... what you guys think?

I think he looks amazing and completely like himself from ME1 & ME2. Most people think like that actually, even non-fans of him.

And I won't even get into the fact that Kaidan/manShep using their biotics in that way is totally a fantasy I've have since the first game-

well, without going into too much detail - and actually the only detailed images we had so far were used for the opening spreads of articles in magazines - yupp, I'd say he still looks the same pretty much, the hair still has the same shape basically even though I got the feeling he uses gel now to make it a bit spiky

the main difference, but that was already the case in ME2 is imho the armor.
if we'd see Kaidan in his non-heavy fighting armor, the way Ashley is constantly portrayed - assuming that thing would look more like light armor from ME 1 - the differences might seem to be reduced

I like the Spectre armor more than what was shown so far as the alternate appearance armor
and I thought that was heavy armor, but compared to what Vega is lugging around ...

am I the only one who would want to see Kaidans non-heavy, but not-casual outfit?
or can we say in general that the Kaidan fans want to see him with less armor and the Ashley fans want to see her with more armor

I wonder how many people decided to replay ME 1 or use the save editor to change the flag for Kaidan since he's such an exceptional beauty now

He looks perfectly recognizable to me. Maybe a bit rougher around the edges, but he's had a hard couple years. I like the little hint of gray on his temples. Very sexy.

Yes catsuits for Kaidan and ManShep please. (cause Manshep looks quite fetching in Jacobs outfit)
Unfortunately I have a nasty suspicion that Kaidans alternate outfit is going to be as light as has armour will get and you can bet on Shepards armour being redesigned to resemble Vega's suit.

I think that may be the lighting, but apart from that I completely agree with you.
