It doesnt on xbox..unless it's a computer thing?

If thats the case, have you tried re-importing it? Sounds like its not recognising something

the comic does if your importing form me2 for another playthrew least it did for me on pc had to remove the comic so i could import some of my me2 ones for single and romance thayne playthrews since i gib edited a few it shouldent if you are importing from me1 though.

Yeah i tried to import it again and hit the same issue. Guess i'll just have to wander through 2 bemoaning the lack of bonus power or messing around with the research terminal thing to see if i can get access to them through there. Just an odd bug and the first time i've seen it, ahh well, onwards to march and me3!

Yeah the comic is a pain in the arse on pc, it pops up no matter what. Luckily you can skip through it fairly quickly. Sorry noxpanda, I haven't had the problem you describe so I am no help whatsoever.

I've been catching up with the forum through my iPod and just got a chance to get on the computer and wish everyone a Merry late Christmas and a Happy early New Year! My condolences to everyone who has lost someone recently.

As for the demo, the last bit of news I heard was that they will be releasing information anywhere between January 9th - 31st. I think everyone's still out for Christmas break, hence the lack of any new information.

I'm out of town and have no access to an xbox so I'm having major ME withdrawals at the moment. I was in the middle of my ultimate ME1 playthrough when I left for Christmas break, and I'm just craving my Kaidan!

Happy *late* Holidays everyone! I just got back from my trip home and had no access to internet. Boy how I missed this thread!
I attempted to catch up on the last 30 or so pages, but I think my brain might have exploded. Any news? And didn't Jacqui mention something about another "surprise?"

On a side note, my condolences to Dark and Silver. I lost my grandmother a few days ago, so my thoughts are with you. Gah, it sucks that not everyone got the dessert-fueled super happy holiday fun-time everyone deserves. Here's hoping next year's better.

Just a quick drive-by to say:

The comic always comes up for me on import, and I play on the xbox too. It just takes into account what decisions you made in ME1, so doesn't offer choices, but still uses the comic to "tell the story" of your ME1 Shepard. Ever since I bought and downloaded Genesis, it plays whether with a new Shepard or with an import. I assumed it was supposed to since it got everything right about my imports.

The comic never came up for me when I started a new game with an import. I think the only time I saw it pop up with a Shepard I had from ME1 was when I recently did a NG+ game.

I wonder if it's meant to come up or not then? It wouldn't be the first xbox bug for me, but since it works correctly, it doesn't really seem like a bug. Things that make you go hmm.

I started an imported game (on pc) yesterday and the comic came up. I couldn't make any new choices, and all the pre-made ones corresponded to the imported game, so I figured it's just supposed to be that way. Quite annoying to have to sit through the comic though.

Now that they've added the comic I only start imported games in ME2, I hate that I get the Liara cutscene in the beginning every time I start a non-imported character. I love that cutscene where I can tell Kaidan to leave while I get Joker.

The comic has never popped up for me when I have imported a Shepard from ME1, I can't see why it should though as it tells your decisions when you pick your savefile. :/ how strange lol.

Really want to hear some news about the demo, need to see Kaidan in action!

lol I get the feeling that if the info doesn't come on Jan 9 exactly we're going to see the BSN mobs begin to riot. Even if they wait till the last minute to give info on the demo Iwouldn't mind a few bones being thrown our way...a screenshot or something...a glimpse of Kaidan maybe.

Forgive my ignorance but I don't have the comic...can you use it to start a save where you don't have an LI at all? I was just wondering what all the options were.

The only way I could make a single Shepard was by using the comic. Using the comic you pretty much decide if the rachni queen lives or dies, who you romance if anyone, Wrex live or die, who gets Virmired, save the council or not, and who gets made Coucil rep. It totally ignores Feros, so imports have no Shiala, you also don't get Gianna or Conrad showing up in ME2.

Thanks...I was curious...I can live without some of the stuff especially Conrad lol...I was thinking I might try a non-romanced playthrough for ME3 but I didn't want to go back through ME1 to do it...to great of a temptation to give in to Kaidan. Might look into this later when I'm through with my renegade.

@ michelle7 if your on pc you can also gibed edit one to have more options than the comic its how i got single shep for me2 then just redid 2 to get not shure aobut x box but think you can edit that as well. ps3 users are stuck with comic unfortunaly my brother has the ps3 version hes playing threw.

Not a lot of people on the forums right now...everyone's either playing SWTOR, Skyrim, or replaying ME or ME2 or still spending time with their families. I'm just checking in every once and a while...took a break from my ME2 renegade to catch up on Terra Nova. Some of them just haven't checked back is all.

yup...playing skyrim...holding off on buying SWTOR for a little bit - I enjoy games better when I play them one at a time, although right now I feel I'm being pulled in so many game-related directions, its tough to choose....nevermind that I want to rerun through ME and ME2 right before march.
