Im on ME2 now, finished ME in like 2 days.. and i already miss Kaidan! Bioware is cruel to make us wait so long! It better be worth it!! You know what i would love to see! At the end, there is a party or something, my Femshep in a smokin hot dress and Kaidan lookin delicious in a suit!! I think we deserve to celebrate after saving the world! Ohhh im so hoping for a nice scene with Kaidan, not just banter but getting up close and personal! lol!!

Ya me too! Its pretty easy! Just do all the loyalty missions, make sure your paragon or renegade is up so you can break up the fight betweem Miranda and Jack and Legion and Tali without pissing either off. And when your crew is kidnapped go RIGHT away! I chose Legion as my tech, Miranda always leading squad and Mordin to escort the crew back since he has a habit of dying randomly and ta da!! No one left behind!

About ME3 suddenly becoming rather close - something must be wrong with my memory. It seems like it was a week ago when this boards were opened, and now support threads are 7 months old, one of them is going to hit 1k pages, and it's only two months until release.

Looks like I'm getting old. It's so strange to feel so at 21.

And Kaidan's grey (highlighted?) temples affect me more and more ;-P

Would be nice but I don't hold a out a lot of hope for a sweet scene at the climatic end unless they do it after the credits roll or something...and even then it would depend on the ending. Might not be cost efficient since all the endings might not be able to use the scene.

i have a count down for ME3 on my iphone 67 days 11hours away! seems so far to me i am hoping these months go fast! have you gotten special edition preordered? i asked for it for christmas, so all i got was a piece of paper but its the best piece of paper i have ever gotten in a gift bag thats for sure!!!

As for the grey! Love it!! he was in his mid 30's in the first one so im guessing that they will make this one a couple months later so if you count the 2 years from ME2 he is pretty close to 40 and being without his Shep better of stressed him out! Ive always had a thing for salt and pepper hair myself! lol:wub:

Well what i do is while im doing missions i check all the planets and clusters in that system, and i only scan the rich ones, the good thing about this is as soon as you select a planet the AI will tell you if "annomoly detected" and there you go a side mission! if you only scan rich you will be fine, and i only scan them till their moderate, then they are of no use to me lol!

I think I pretty much ignored most of the upgrades but I must have got enough that I made it through with what few loyal squadmates I had the first time. The scenes where the squadmembers are dying and the Normandy isn't holding up so well are a lot more exciting that the ones where you are fully upgraded in my opinion. I remember after doing a playthrough where everyone was saved for the first time feeling like it was kinda of "meh" after having seeing the other scenes first.

Seeing how Kaidan sadly glances at debris as answer to "where's the Commander" nearly broke my heart at first playthrough. The most emotional moment in game - I've saved Kaidan at bomb site, though, since VC dying at bomb is heartbreaking as well.

You should put "ME2 playthrough/walkthrough" and just start clicking on first video of every result. No way to find them otherwise I know 'cause I've been searching for various playthroughs with different variables recently when looking for quotes for Raphael gift and it's pain in the ass to find exactly what I want

Only times I've lost anyone on the SM was when I did it deliberately. Sadly Garrus, Tali, and Samara won't be joining some of my femShep's fight against the reapers. Apart from a single femShep I made for James all my others are romancing Kaidan. My solitary Sheploo is currently with Miranda.

I think I have one where only 4 squadmates survive...Zaeed, Samara, Mordin, and and I think Legion...I didn't have Kasumi at the time and haven't gone back to that particular game but that was my revenge save. I felt like they were pushing their LI's on me instead of giving me the one I wanted so I offed them...I just replayed the LOTSB dlc recently...just my second time and found the place where the SB spied on people and low and behold there is Jacob doing situps without his shirt on and I'm thinking why couldn't that have been Kaidan...we can see Jacob on the ship anytime.

The first picture I posted of my femshep was off the xbox...geez it was a struggle to get a decent picture with my camera. None of my current femsheps even resemble my original...for some reason they look different on the xbox than the pc. Took me a while to get used to the pc look. Anyway she's very pretty.

Here's to hoping. All but one of my Sheps are female, but I've already determined to start another male Shep from the beginning if Kaidan is a s/s option just for him.

Yeah, I can't believe how close it is to release. I'm pretty excited. I'm not on here much, I mostly lurk but I'll proably disappear once the game comes out. For DA2 I lurked a couple of the character threads and news and announcement section pretty hardcore but since the game was released I hardly ever go back.

The whole game it was being stressed to make sure the ship was ready and your crew was clear-headed so I didn't have anyone killed on the SM. I thought it was rather easy and though I normally don't have a problem making my characters do stuff I don't agree with I haven't been able bring myself to manipulate deaths in the SM.

It really annoyed the hell out of me that there was no SB dossier on Kaidan, or even footage of him in the vid collection, even if it was just him walking through the Citadel.  And then the only way Kaidan gets a mention is if you take the renegade response to Liara when she asks how you're doing.

I've always had trouble with Normandy shields upgrade since Tali's loyalty is normally my last mission before Reapers IFF. Still didn't forget to have them installed, but forgot that I had them installed for couple of times. It was rather shaky passes through Omega-4.

One more thing about SM is that if people start to die like flies it loses impact as well. Especially if deaths are planned - it turns into checking the invisible boxes. Maybe that's the reason why Ashley's death stings as well - normally she's the only loss on my playthroughs (expect Morinth), so it's more like sudden reminder of mortality than another event in chain of similar events.

Edit: since we're on topic of mortality and I prefer "near death experience" to actual deaths at least on main playthroughs, let's remember our extremely talented Shoko
