(delurking to ask)  when did Raphael confirm it? I listened to all his audioblogs and never heard him confirm or deny it. Also according to those who read the leak all the convos are gender neutral, so how has it been confirmed? Unless it's spoilery than I don't want to know unless you can tell me in a way that won't spoil it.The reason I am asking is because in both games most of the convos have been gender neutral which didn't really confirm anything. Just curious. (back to lurking.) 


Edit: also I am sorry to all those that lost someone. I know it doesn't make it better but I just wanted to give my condolences.

It wasn't in the audioblog. A fan in the audience asked him straight forward about it during his panel at Albuquerque Comic Expo back in June, and he confirmed Click for details. I believe Raphael *cough*jacqui are you here?*cough*

I'm not sure when Raphael confirmed it, I thought he just said it would be great if they did it when someone asked him about it (but I could be wrong as I have no interest in s/s romances). The spoilers are gender neutral from what I've read in terms of the Kaidan romance so at this point it's still not clear whether he will be a s/s option or not. I'm thinking that he probably is but hoping that I'm wrong.

The 3 people who actually where there, including a BSN poster, said he confirmed when asked "will there be gay romance with Kaidan", not "would you be up for it if it ever happened". They said his response sounded like a confirmation.

We're still waiting for TOR to be released in Australia, lol. There was a rumour very early on that Raphael Sbarge was voicing a possible LI but I think it turned out to be only wishful thinking, lol

considering this is an MMO, I wasn't even thinking about there being LI's. If there are, I'll try it. My brother today flirted with a Twi'Lek chick with Liara's voice...5 minutes before lecturing two young padawans on not to get romantically involved. So, I'm looking forward to it

Thank you for that info...I knew I had heard that Liara would say something about Kaidan but had never gotten the response...I guess my renegade will get it this time.

Shepard says something along the lines of being tired that no-one believes her and even her best friend didn't believe her and Liara says something like I heard what Kaidan said on Horizon but their shortsightedness doesn't take away from what you've accomplished, or words to that effect, lol

My God, I must have gone to SB's base like a million times hoping that footage or a dossier of Kaidan had been added to no avail. 

I didn't know that Liara said anything.  As much as I would love for Kaidan to take Shepard's word (about Cerberus, the Reapers, and all the stuff he didn't believe when they talked on Horizon), I think Liara would be the best person to talk to Kaidan about what really happened to Shepard.  I don't think he fully understands that Shep was actually dead.  Makes me wonder how they are going to resolve their relationship in ME3.  Will he understand that Shepard was "dead" for those two years and was stonewalled by Anderson when he/she asked about Kaidan? 

Anyway, in regards to Sheps...all my femSheps have romanced Kaidan.  I don't have Genesis, though I might need to get it so that I can at least have one fShep for Vega.  Reaaalllly hoping Kaidan will be s/s because I'm saving my one mShep for him.

You're not the only one. I went back to the SB base so many times hoping to see something about Kaidan. I even went there after Arrival in case they'd snuck something in, lol

Theres defo LIs in ToR, varies according to class and gender as to wether you get one option or two atm, theres currently no same sex romances but theyve said they will add them at some point. You don't get the 'steamier' scenes of ME, just a kiss and a fade to black but some of the relationships can end in marriage.

For the female trooper theres only one LI a cathar guy named Aric Jorgan, hes surly and grumpy to begin with, not hugely attractive either (unless red fur and reen eyes does it for you) but from what i played with the trooper there are some truly hilarious lines between them (try flirting with npcs, his reaction is brilliant ) Also femsheps VA is on form as per usual, i espec love going for the sarky options, the way she delivers them has me in stitches

I'm on frostclaw server busy lightsabering people to pieces if you need someone to natter to, apparently as a JK i get a doctor to fawn over, no clue what hes like yet!

That's what I'm afraid of...that Kaidan will initially not fully trust Shepard because he's afraid she's not, well, her.  The way I'm role playing my canon Shepard is that even she feels like she's not...human (oh, the irony - she's the one that's going to be telling Kaidan that he makes her feel human this time around).  She has all these upgrades and enhancements, skin and bone weaves...in her mind, she's more of a robot than an actual person.

I'm about halfway through my ME1 go-to-level-60 playthrough, and I have to agree with everyone here - March seems so close!  Eek!  It seems like it's gonna take me forever just to even get to Horizon.  I, too, hope the loading screens are shorter.  I'll take long elevator rides with news and possible squad banter over staring at a loading screen for ten minutes any time.

Yeah Bastila's represented well.  Haven't gotten very far in, but haven't seen any hint of Carth.  A sad panda am I.

I'm splitting time between Consular and Sorcerer, with a little time thrown in for Trooper. 

Another voice that we all know is in the game: Ashley's VA plays tha part of Cera on Taris.  That was a fun treat.  Wish Raphael Sbarge would have some work in it.  There are always expansions and patches.

That's the way I view it too. I think it would be reasonable for Kaidan to be a little stand-offish at first, until he knows that Shepard is really Shepard, especially considering how convinced he is that Cerberus cannot be trusted.

I'd also think that it might be a little awkward at first when they become intimate again...I mean it's not like a ME2 romance where Shep would have been with his/her LI of choice for the first time. Kaidan and the other ME1 LI's knew Shep before she was reconstructed. I mean if any one could be with Shep intimately and notice that things were not quite the same as before it would be the ME1 LI. Might be a little fearful for Shep as well... I could see her mind full of the "what ifs"..."What if Kaidan sees I'm not quite the same as I was before"...could really rock her confidence.

Couldn't agree with you  more...at least with the elevator we get some good interaction between the squadmates.
