Thank you, this is helpful and reassuring. I stayed loyal to Kaidan, but he'll only be a friend in my first imported playthrough.

I am now done with spoilers! Gosh nearly spoiled alot of things for myself lol.

Thank you, this is helpful and reassuring. I stayed loyal to Kaidan, but he'll only be a friend in my first imported playthrough.

The romance is okay...but I think that the plot threads surrounding the Virmire Survivor overshadows that for me at the moment.

I'm going to reserve my judgement until the game comes out, and I have more info, but for me, personally, if certain things I read in the spoilers involving Kaidan are in the final game, I'll either be just kind of disappointed, or totally unhappy.  Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised despite what I've read.  We'll see.

As for Kaidan in script - the best I can tell is that some scenes were obviously missing. And overall impression was like it isn't final version of this story arc. The same true at least for Miranda.


BTW, is that normal that I'm totally obsessed over Kaidan's ME3 armor? I really want it modeled / DLC'ed for Shepard. Since it's SpeCTRe armor, Shepard should theoretically have access? ;-P

It does look like some of the lines are missing from the script and I think some of us are hanging our hats on what we've read as though it's the final product....I'm sure some of it will be in there but they could have changed their minds about certain things over and over again since they first wrote it.

For me personally of what I've read the romance seems really detailed up to a specific point in the game and then kinda just drops off into average. Maybe it's kinda a given but I think that the playthroughs where you romanced him(whether you stayed loyal or not) will get the most dialog and interaction. Just starting out in ME3 as romancing him for the first time seemed a little lacking in my opinion for what little I could understand of it....but then again like I said they could have changed some of it...added to it or taken away. Guess we'll find out in March.

Not a lot of people on here right now...I think SWTOR and Skyrim have lured them away...and then there is a pretty large group staying away because of spoilers...when there is new info the forums will pick up...of course it still doesn't seem like there are as many people as there were a couple of months before the ME2 release. I'll be in periodically...I've got to get back to work...support my gaming habit...lol.

I can't say I was thrilled with some of the stuff in the leaked script, Kaidan related and not, but I'm hoping it's improved since then.

I'm usually lurking around and hanging out for spoilers so I can decide whether I want to play ME3 or not. So far I'm leaning towards not but I'm hoping that the info we get over the next couple of months and the demo will change my mind, lol. I haven't been lured away by Skyrim, which I found boring, or TOR which hasn't been released in Australia yet, but have been trying to write and haven't had a lot ot say, lol.

Ass for whether or not kaidan's story line in mass effect 3 will be good, I have to admit that the leaked script was discouraging. Putting that aside, I've played this series too much to let something like that stop me from playing mass effect 3. If bioware screws up the VS story line I'll just wite them a strongly worded letter. Which is my solution to everything lol.

I think people are overreactioning to the leak script, It doesn't matter to me I think the game will be good any way. I didn't read anything of the script, and they mostly it could have been a draft of it. So again I ain't worry at all. I have my pre order and paid off already, and not just waiting for ME 3.

I didn't find any of these alleged "steamy" bits.  I saw some great romantic scenes though.  Is there something..uh..in particular I should be searching for to find it? PM me if necessary

Neither did I which made me wonder. Of course there's the question what Raphael considers as 'very steamy', but honestly, didn't saw anything like that in the leak which makes me think it really wasn't complete yet (at least in romance departement). Miranda fans also think so since there was a tweet from one of the writers about creating some "super complicated Miranada dialogue scene" and yet they didn't saw anything like that in the script. So I'm rather sure it wasn't complete/full yet. Most of the stuff will pobably stay the same, but some things may get added/changed.

I was the same way with ME2...I practically lived on one thread trying to decide whether or not I was going to get the game...and the thread really got nasty after a while...worse than some of the threads that I've seen on here lately...finally gave in and got the game...can't say I was all that impressed and probably would have sold the thing if it had not been for import purposes. I'm just hoping ME3 is better.

Kinda thinking that they may go with more MMO's in the fututre than single player games(just my opinion so no one freak out) and since that's not my thing this may very well wind up being my last Bioware game. Have to see where they go with the next DA game...think I heard they were thinking about multiplayer for that one too.

lol I found Skyrim boring too. First Bethesda game that just fell flat for me.

You make a good point, dont want to Spoil the story but i have always been that girl that needs to know everything, needs to know what im getting for my birthday, christmas.. otherwise i go crazy lol! So keeping away has always been hard for me! I just cant wait.. it really feels like it wont come soon enough, maybe if i was working time would fly by but since im not its going super slow!
