I think everyone's first reaction on doctor from Citadel was "Chloe Michel?" just because for now it's the only doctor from Citadel we know. If that's true, then "going for the drinks" where one participant misses dead girlfriend while another misses disappeared turian was super awkward

LOL.  It would be troubling if she were the only doctor on the entire Citadel.  I actually wouldn't mind if his date was with her, but honestly, who cares.  Shepard was dead, and Kaidan's friends were just being helpful by setting him up on a date.  It's only going to matter to me if we're forced to live out some reality show nightmare of competing for the affection of our LI.

I REALLY loathe shows like The Bachelor.  Yeah, no competition, please.

I hope it ain't Dr. Mitchell. The galaxy already feels way too small. Not as bad as in KOTOR, but still everybody knows everybody. Even if they wanted it to be Mitchell, they've left it vague enough to change to whoever they want so hopefully they do it (personally I hope the doctor was a guy )

If you cheated on Kaidan to get with Garrus, I can imagine that this situation would only get more excrutiatingly awkward. Especially if you get to "go for drinks" with Michel when you get to go see her in ME3, like she asked you to in ME2 via email. I would totally take Garrus and Kaidan with me for that "mission".

I'll just copypaste my blabla from DA here:

I was afraid that the way I draw their relationship (my 'head canon') sometimes it would appear that Kaidan is the 'woman', which is something I wouldn't want ... I want them both to be guys and in a relationship, that's all ... true enough I think Shepard would save the galaxy while Kaidan watches his back etc. but on a whole I wouldn't attribute the 'taking care of'/maternal thing to Kaidan alone.
So, either I could draw a super-actiony piece where Kaidan displays Sentinel bad-assery and saves Shepard or show Shepard's caring side

also, while I use the Sheploo appearance, this ^ Shepard is closer to 'my' Shepard than the default one. Suffice it to say, he's a Vanguard and Spacer.
Spacers get the chance to talk to their mom during ME1, which I just found cute, especially if you pick the renegade option at some point, it ... she's just mom-ly, anyway, I guess since her boy (or girl if you play as femShep) is a biotic and they need food with lots of calories, I bet she developed special recipes over time and probably taught Shep some of them ...

long story short: Shepard is making some special 4biotics pancakes for Kaidan

and yes, he has an N7-apron for cooking

Okay, now I understand what "4biotics pancakes" are. Because what I call "pancakes" IRL is about 1 mm thick. No wonder both Shepard and Kaidan are... surprised? Priceless face expressions, what can I say=]

I just meant that the recipe that Hanna invented/altered probably makes pancakes that have a bit more calories than they usually do
personally I like them thin, though not as thin as ... crepes (sp?)

and I probably read too much into it, but I want 'my' Shepard to have some personality ... I don't bother to put that much thought into 'test' Shepards
also, my Shepard is a biotic* and depending on the moral alignment either an Adept (paragon/paragade) or a Vanguard (renegon/renegade), so the morality is also reflected in his use of biotics

*I think basically all Shepards are biotics, but it's up to you to choose a biotic class - would explain why everyone can get biotic bonus powers, too

anyway, Kaidan ... erm ... can't think of anything right now ... looks good, can't wait to see him in action in some trailer or screenshot ... hear my plea BioWare
