Why does the VS hardly ever get shown? I know we have one screenie from last year and some armour shots but we have no in game images of Kaidan.

Right now I feel like if I have seen one Garrus and Liara screen shot, I have seen them ALL.

I appreciate seeing Vega though.

And Mass Effect 2 Tali is that you?! God....Couldn't change up the outfit even a little. Not like her face/hair/expressions ever changes, really that tired outfit? She is getting left on the ship I will be bored just looking at her.

I have a sneaking suspicion, that even if there is a comic about the VS, it will only feature Ashley, since the EA marketing department seems prefer to focus all their efforts on a certain crowd they assume is going to prefer Ashley to Kaidan in any case.

Although there are some awesome fan artists out there, and some are way better than the Dark Horse artists (just my humble opinion), the cool thing about having Kaidan represented in an official Mass Effect comic would be knowing that the writers and devs actually care enough to put him in a comic.  Both Kaidan and Ashley got very, very little love in ME2, so seeing either one in comics, marketing, or on t-shirts or other merchandise feels like an impossible dream right now.

We'll see.  Hopefully the marketing campaign ramps up pretty soon.

My guess is the forums will be a ghost town for a week or two when the game releases then it will be flooded with people either loving or hating on the game and discussing the events of ME3.

The support threads will go on even after the game comes out, mostly to just talk about the game.

I personally prefer posting in support threads after the game is out, speculation isn't as much fun to me.

I like to speculate, usually just to see if I'm right when the next game comes out. But I usually keep it to myself or discuss it with my son.

I only meant it would be a ghost town around here for a week or two after game release because people would be busy playing ME3.

Oh, I agree about that.  But I know I post in the DA2 support threads, for instance, more than I did when the game was in development.  I just don't have as much to say about what might happen, even when I've read spoilers (actually it's moreso, because I don't want to inadvertently say something spoilery).

A lot of people see thier Shepard as the center of the universe so I'm not suprise people hate more since he out ranks Shepard, The thing is Shepard was dead for two year's they think if Kaidan is gets promotted so should Shepard, problem is Shepard comitted a act of war (though it wasn't), so no suprise that Shepard was stripped of his/her rank after ME2 arrival,

I knew nothing good would come out of that thread when I saw "Kadian"... multiple times. Kadian. Come on now, people.

Yea and normally I stay away from those but Selene went in there ha ha ha. That is usually why I try to steer clear of general forum. Just sometimes you get reading some of the comments and next thing you know your writting:?

The only case I see Ashley and Kaidan in "Homeworlds" is if they'll be represented as SpeCTRes and featured place will be Citadel. Earth is already taken.

I've been a member of this forum for almost two years but never actually posted for some reason so just thought i'd say hey!

I saw the Tweet about the main characters from ME getting their own comic issue and i think that Kaidan will actually get his own edition to. Based on what Bioware has said about listening to the fans and reading the forums they must know that this is a massive fan base for Kaiden so to leave him out just because a lot of people choose Ashley as a love interest over Kaidan due to more people playing as a male Shepherd would be ridiculous! Fingers crossed!!

On a side note i cannot wait for this game to come out, i'm so invested in my Fem Shep but i wont get to play until June due to travelling Oz :-( I will be avoiding these forums like the plague after the game comes out!!

I'd actually prefer to see Kaidan and Ashley starring together in one comic - "Virmire what Virmire?" - but it will create massive confusion. Maybe two separate editions?

Yep after everyone has played it at least once they'll be back here to either complain or praise it for a while..,.probably after a couple of months they'll move on to speculation as to where Bioware will go for ME4 or over to the DA forums to discuss DA3.

There is always someone out there that wants to kill specific characters...I've heard some wanting to kill Vega because they think he looks like a COD clone and they haven't even seen or interacted with him in game yet.

I can't post there because my son registered the DA games with his name. But I do read them sometimes. I love dragon age too!

I will def stick around after ME3 comes out, I love this thread (all the people are so nice!) And I LOVE Kaidan!
